“Springhill was very clean and comfortable. Some of the pictures on Google are probably before renovation or of the Residence Inn located next door. The Springhill rooms were bright(white bedding), spacious and modern.(The only cons is that the toilet and shower booth are separated) Above all, all the staff were very friendly. This accommodation gave me a good impression of Nashville.
*It's located in midtown, so it's a bit far to walk downtown.
**Parking fee($29) in addition to the room charge was ironic, but I know now that it is cheaper than other places.”

“Had a good experience here. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's weird, though, because, the attached parking garage is the only real option for parking. It it is on the 3rd & 4th floors. The hotel is 9 floors. You can go down from your room to the garage, but not up from the garage. There is a chain link one-way gate that blocks it. You have to take the elevator up to your room. Seems like this would have to be against fire code, but whatever. You're thinking it's probably not that bad, well there are only two elevators and they are always really slow. Remember there are nine floors, PLUS, there is a Residence Inn attached, directly on the other side of the elevators. Also on the the other side of the elevators is the housekeeping area so there are constantly people going up and down the elevators cleaning rooms and such. I asked a few where the stairs were and none of them spoke English, so it was hard to get an answer. I had to go all the way back to the front desk. You're probably thinking that's not that big of a deal, but while I was there a box truck came through behind the building and it was too tall it knocked off a sprinkler head and sent water spewing everywhere. The truck didn't even realize it so he kept driving on. This set the emergency alarm off and locked down the elevators. I couldn' take the stairs either, so I just had to wait 30 minutes to get the elevators reset by engineering while I had bags and food that was getting cold. By the way, parking is $29 per night, but thankfully not valet. I hate hotels like this, located in the heart of major cities, but I was here on business. The view was nice. I wouldn't stay here again, but it's very walkable to a lot of attractions in the area.”
