JW Marriott Madrid

The hotel's excellent location, in the urban center of the city and very close to the most important local attractions, where you will discover some of the most important tourist attractions, such as Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, and Plaza Mayor. You can enjoy the commercial atmosphere in the luxury stores of the Canalejas Gallery and enjoy the cultural delights of visiting, within walking distance, three of the best art museums in the world, the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Reina Sofia. The JW Madrid hotel elegant décor resonates with the building's historic past, revealing the old 19th century wrought iron columns. Relax in our lobby seated by the fireplace or enjoy a world-class international dining experience served in the restaurant. Modern facilities, a large, fully equipped fitness room and attentive hotel staff ensure a luxurious experience. In our rooms you will appreciate details of brass elements, crisp spaces being a home of high sophistication, but subtle and elegant touches.

“We went to the restaurant of the Hotel Asturias to celebrate the golden wedding of my parents, we were looking for a central location that could be good for everyone and the site fulfilled it. It is true that the restaurant has a little innovative decoration, Castilian type tables and everything in salmon tones, but other than that the place is worth it. They put us in a quiet area away from the rest of the people eating there and the service was quick and attentive. The portions were more than generous and everything was very tasty and at a much cheaper price than many places we had previously looked at. I don't know the hotel and I can't recommend it, but it is a place to value for informal celebrations.”

“I was in Madrid for a few days (May 2013). The hotel wasn't really good. It was pretty cold at night. There was no floor heating and the overall room temperature was not so high. Also there was no noise isolation at all. We could hear everything, whether within the flor or outside the building. In the 21th century there should be at least a free WiFi in the lobby. Nope! And the room safe was pretty bad. Everytime you opened it, you had to insert one euro to close it again. So not really usable for cameras or other things you need to take in and out a few times a day! Overall I'm not mad because it was only a city trip and the room stay was only for sleeping. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend. Maybe to someone I don't like ;-) Almost forgotten. The employees were friendly, spoke english and showed us some checkpoints on the map! I appreciate that”
