We stayed here twice on our vacation. Once before the cruise and then again after the cruise. I was able to book most of the trip with points. The first time we stayed here it was nice. The bed was uncomfortable, the room and hotel a little musty smell, but overall 2-3 stars. The second time started out rough. We got here around 9 am and requested early check in. The guys behind the counter was rude and didn’t at first want to look for any available rooms. Reluctantly he did and said I found you a room but since you are before check in I’m charging you $50 per room. Though the room had a partial ocean view it was still the same small and musty room as before. Asked for a late check out and was told they were oversold for tomorrow so I had to check out at noon. I guess Gold status means nothing at this hotel. Customer service here comes at a price and still it doesn’t come with a smile or politeness, just rudeness and not very helpful. Very disappointed. I guess when you have enough points for two rooms in Hawaii there must be a reason…hotel is old and is in need of remodeling. For Waikiki Beach I expected more. They charge you a $35 “resort” fee. This is not a resort. They have a small gym and pool. No beach access or beach related amenities. I guess they are changing you for the proximity to the beach and other resorts? Rethink staying here. Stay down the street at the Hilton Village. As they say, cheap is cheap!

The only downside to this hotel is the fact that the other Hilton options in the area are much nicer. My room appears to be fairly updated and the bed is comfy, so no real complaints. No acknowledgement of Diamond status and definitely no upgrades. If I was choosing again I would go to the nearby Embassy Suites for the free breakfast.

They treated me like a diamond member. Everything was perfect from the time I gave the valet my car all the way through check-in until I pick my car at the next morning. I absolutely no problems and the room was spectacularly clean

A great place to stay if you LOVE hearing motorcycles make their engines scream to 14,000 RPM & other cars trying to match the cacophony of sound at all hours of the night. The hotel really accommodates this experience by making sure the windows in the hallway are rusted in place and can’t be shut, even when you call the front desk and request them to be temporarily closed so they’ll help reduce the sound coming in from the street and reverberating against the walls. Another way they let the sound come in is through the balcony door. The door to the balcony *technically* closes, but just barely so it seems like. It still allows sounds to pour into the room from the street below. One positive thing is the air conditioning is cold, got the room to 64°🥶.

Great place to stay. We stayed 9 nights. The hotel is clean, up to date and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Coffee in the lobby is better than most hotel coffees . Our room had views of the ocean, the very top of Diamond Head, Mountain View’s and views of downtown Waikiki. This hotel is a quick walk to Ft Darusey Beach which is open to the public if you don’t want to venture out too far. The Hiking Hawaii Cafe that is not associated with the hotel has a great Lavender latte and they are gluten friendly.

Las habitaciones definitivamente necesitan ser actualizadas. Nuestro baño no tenía un lugar para colgar las toallas mojadas para dejarlas secar para el día siguiente. Os quartos definitivamente precisam ser atualizados. Nosso banheiro não tinha lugar para pendurar as toalhas molhadas para deixá-las secar para o dia seguinte. Nós não tivemos essencialmente água quente ou mesmo morna para os 5 dias que fomos eles. A equipe notificou e eles vieram, então tem água quente por 10 minutos inteiros antes de voltar para a água fria. Teve que caminhar 10 minutos para a praia, mas poderia lidar com isso, mas para o preço a pagar pelo quarto deveria ter sido pelo menos vista para o mar. Nossa vista era a parte de trás de um restaurante e a rua. Não planeje alugar, pois você pagará uma taxa adicional de cerca de US$ 40-60 por dia. Rooms definitely need to be updated. Our bathroom did not have a place to hang the wet towels in order to let them dry for the next day. We had essentially no hot or even warm water for the 5 days we were they. Notified staff and they came so got hot water for a whole 10 minutes before back to cold water. Had to walk 10 minutes to beach but could deal with that but for the price to pay for room should have been at least ocean view. Our view was the back of a restaurant and the street. Don't plan on getting a rental as you will be paying an additional fee of about $40-60 per day. For the price you have to pay---- find a different hotel or better yet VRBO.

Passei uma noite depois de entrar na cidade. Recebeu um upgrade que foi bom. O restaurante do hotel está em reset, apenas voltando ao normal devido a pandemia. Café da manhã disponível, mas ainda sem jantar. Tem um ar de cidade grande. Não em frente à praia. Estacione do outro lado da rua. Nota: É uma caminhada para chegar à praia. Ótimo exercício.

Pasé una noche después de llegar a la ciudad. Recibió una actualización que fue agradable. El restaurante del hotel se está reiniciando, simplemente regresando a la normalidad debido a la pandemia. Desayuno disponible, pero no cena, hasta el momento. Tiene una sensación de gran ciudad. No en primera línea de playa. Parque al otro lado de la calle. Nota: Es un paseo para llegar a la playa. Gran ejercicio.

Spent an overnight after getting in to town. Received an upgrade which was nice. Hotel restaurant is on a reset, just returning to normal due to pandemic. Breakfast available, but no dinner, as of yet. Has a big city feel. Not on beach front. Park across the street. Note: It is a walk to get to the beach. Great exercise.

Quartos agradáveis. 3 camas, dois quartos e duas varandas. Tinha vista para o mar, montanhas e parque. A única coisa que eu mudaria é ficar fora da cidade. Somos pessoas do subúrbio e gostamos de mais sossego. Eu entendo que esta é a cidade, mas você não conseguia dormir com as portas da varanda abertas por causa do barulho do tráfego. Se você mora na cidade, provavelmente está acostumado e não é grande coisa, para outros, foi perturbador. Não é culpa do hotel, mas minha supervisão. Estacionamento gratuito para hóspedes!!!!

Não tenho nada de ruim para ficar sobre este hotel. Foi convenientemente localizado a uma curta distância da maioria das coisas. O shopping ficava a 1,6 km de distância, a praia fica a 10 minutos a pé. Eles dão uma garrafa de água e biscoitos deliciosos durante o check-in. Também adoro o fato de que o check-out é às 12h. Tirei uma estrela porque adoraria poder usar serviços de streaming para entretenimento enquanto estava na sala.

I have nothing bad to stay about this hotel. It was conveniently located in walking distance to most things. The mall was 1mi away, beach is a 10min walk. They give a bottles of water and delicious cookies during check-in. I also love the fact that checkout is at 12. I took a star off because I would have loved to have been able to use streaming services for entertainment while in the room.

Nice rooms. 3 beds, two rooms and two balconies. Had views of the ocean, mountains and park. The only thing I would change is staying outside of the city. We are suburbs people and enjoy more quiet. I understand this is the city, but you couldn't sleep with the balcony doors open because of the noice from traffic. If you live in the city, you're probably used to it and it's not a big deal, for others, it was disturbing. Not the hotels fault, but my oversight. Free parking for guests!!!!

Located in the heart of all the action but far enough away to skip all the messy traffic. Staff is very friendly and prompt, and the rooms are extremely clean and nice. Plus you can't go wrong with the Double Tree classic complimentary cookies! Guests/Event Services is also very stellar. It has been great working with everyone involved to set up hassle-free room blocks for our wedding guests. Cheryl and the team are fantastic and have made our wedding experience comfortable and easy; I highly recommend working with them if you have a big event coming up in the future.

Quarto não estava limpo. A pia do banheiro estava suja, o espelho cheio de respingos e nem o piso de cerâmica nem os tapetes haviam sido aspirados. A única razão pela qual eu não pedi para mudar de quarto foi porque era uma estadia de uma noite de escala e eu estava exausto. Eu verifiquei minuciosamente e a cama parecia que tinha sido mudada recentemente. A única razão pela qual fiz 3 estrelas em vez de menos foi porque a equipe foi extremamente agradável, tanto na recepção quanto na frente.

Room was not clean at all. Bathroom sink was dirty, mirror full of splatters, and neither the tile floor or the carpets had been vacuumed. The only reason I didn't ask to change rooms was because it was a one night layover stay and I was exhausted. I did check thoroughly and the bed looked as though it had been freshly changed. The only reason I did 3 stars instead of less was because the staff was exceedingly nice, both at the desk and out front.

Eu não acho que os quartos pareciam muito datados. A cama era muito confortável para dormir e eles foram capazes de fornecer um pacote e brincar para o meu bebê. I didn't think the rooms felt too dated. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in and they were able to provide a pack and play for my toddler. The staff was so helpful and it was easy to find someone to assist with our luggage or any questions about the hotel.As for the location, it's perfectly situated between a few major streets with major bus routes. There's also a laundry mat just around the block that's easy to use. Overall I think this is a great place to stay if you want someplace comfortable to sleep that is nicely located to tourist activities and bus lines. The only thing I wish the hotel had was a bigger fridge.

No pensé que las habitaciones se sintieran demasiado anticuadas. La cama era realmente cómoda para dormir y pudieron proporcionar un paquete y jugar para mi niño pequeño. This hotel has everything you need. The staff is very accommodating and views are spectacular. Located right in a center of everything you will not want for anything. A very family friendly and smoke-free facility. This place is very professional and clean. I highly recommend with five stars. Times and days may change or vary for covid so you may want to check on this before hand.

Nossa família fez uma estadia de uma semana no hotel para a semana do Natal ao Ano Novo, e saímos com uma experiência agradável e lembranças alegres. Funcionários simpáticos, serviços de quarto oportunos, restaurante agradável (um pouco ocupado durante a manhã, mas vale a pena esperar) e ótima localização (a uma curta distância de muitos destinos, incluindo praia, shopping, parque e restaurantes). Também alugamos um carro e achei o estacionamento bastante fácil (autogerido sem portão). Nosso quarto fica no canto sudeste do 10º andar e fizemos bom uso da varanda para várias vistas (montanha, cidade, rio e pessoas) e relaxamos na brisa quente do oceano. Também jogamos cartas e jogos de tabuleiro até tarde da noite e não parecia ser incomodado ou incomodar os outros com ruídos. Sendo um membro Lifetime Diamond do Hilton, foi legal mostrar um pouco desse status (incluindo o café da manhã grátis) para a família que finalmente viajou comigo pela primeira vez em dois anos.

Nuestra familia hizo una estadía de una semana en el hotel durante la semana de Navidad a Año Nuevo, y nos fuimos con una experiencia agradable y recuerdos alegres. Personal amable, servicio de habitaciones oportuno, buen restaurante (un poco ocupado durante la mañana pero vale la pena la espera) y excelente ubicación (a poca distancia de muchos destinos, como la playa, las tiendas, el parque y los restaurantes). También alquilamos un automóvil y el estacionamiento me pareció bastante fácil (autogestionado sin puerta). Nuestra habitación está en la esquina sureste del décimo piso e hicimos un buen uso del balcón para tener múltiples vistas (montaña, ciudad, río y personas) y relajarnos con la cálida brisa del océano. También jugamos juegos de cartas y de mesa hasta altas horas de la noche y no parecía que nos molestaran ni molestáramos a los demás con los ruidos. Siendo un miembro Diamond de por vida de Hilton, fue genial mostrar un poco de ese estatus (incluido el desayuno gratis) a la familia que finalmente pudo viajar conmigo por primera vez en dos años.

Our family made a week-long stay at the hotel for the Christmas to New Year week, and we left with nice experience and joyful memories. Friendly staff, timely room services, nice restaurant (a bit busy during the morning but worth the wait), and great location (walking distance to many destinies including beach, shopping, park and restaurants). We also rented a car and I found the parking to be quite easy (self-managed with no gate). Our room is on the southeast corner of the 10th floor and we made good use of balcony for multi-view (mountain, city, river and people) and relaxing in the warm ocean breeze. We also played card and board games late into the night and didn't seem to be bothered or bothering others with noises. Being a Lifetime Diamond member of Hilton, it was cool to show off a bit of that status (including the free breakfast) to the family who finally got to travel with me first time in two years.
