“Not the friendly staff I have encountered at other Hilton Garden Inns. Front desk didn't greet me, and housekeeping was rushing me out in the morning. Lobby is set up exactly like the one in Ellicott. Unfortunately the first thing I noticed was the terrible smell and dinginess of the lobby. Smelled like something I could not place. Maybe stale smoke? Maybe just hasn't been cleaned well? The furniture looked past its prime, and everything could use a good scrub. I would not want to sit on that furniture. My room was pretty clean, but the dirtiness of the lobby made me not trust the cleanliness of the room, and I found myself inspecting way more than I normally would in other hotels. Updating the lobby would make a huge difference in that place. Did like the free laundry room.”
