“Came for a conference... This place is exhausted. It was dingy, dated, the room was cold and drafty with dim lighting/ no natural light. the carpets were dirty.. our internet didn't work for half of the conference.. there was no way to charge our laptops other than power strips against the wall. You could hear the kitchen through the doors... The toilet seat was barely attached to the toilet.. the escalators didn't function..Long story short.. I'd recommend against having any conferences here. It's surprising how long such a well known entity will go without investing in their space, especially in such a prominent location in downtown Rochester. The Hyatt should be embarrassed.”

“Renovated hotel. Location is the best thing. The ac is very very poor within the rooms. Though not charged ( so far but ) was asked $10 a day for a microwave in the room, additional to the room rate. I have heard all good things about the hotel from everyone, however I was not impressed with the price paid and value received. In terms of room, updated, no carpet ( good ). Bathroom was good. Beds and pillow we're not that comfortable however the biggest issue was air conditioning within the room. The thermostat did not do anything even if we reduced it to 66. The room.was hot always.
Not sure will book again.”
