“This hotel has some negative operational issues management needs to overcome. However, with that being said, the staff does an outstanding job to make your stay very worthwhile. Lourdes and Giada are to be highly commended for their professional and customer service-oriented manner. I have never been more impressed! They were faced with multiple issues outside of their control and yet remained focused on customer satisfaction as their top priority. The booking reservation was completely incorrect, even though it was the hotel's own reservation team who assisted us. We were faced with two twin beds, when we booked a queen, a standard room when we booked a superior room, changing rooms 2 times/3 days in the process. Had it not been for this great front desk team, I would have rated this hotel much lower, but when you have hotel employees who go above and beyond to make things right, you don't find that everywhere. Our room was clean, comfortable and a nice finish to a rough start. To the ladies in the breakfast area, job well done! Each day they made sure everything was in order and presented nicely. Lastly, NH Hotels, you must do a better job with your reservation team so they do not misrepresent what the customer is purchasing. Secondly, keep the public restrooms clean! They were not well-maintained (trash cans overflowing).”

“Warning! Be careful with the reservations of NH hotels. On the 29th of May I got a reservation in this Hotel. First of all the price was out of market 356.1€ per night a single room (bkf included) for a hotel that doesnt worth it, the only plus is the location as the status and standard of the building is medium-low. Apart of the price, once we arrived to the reception, they communicated us that they had a problem with the system and we didnt have the room. We found ourselves without place to stay at 1.00 am in the night in Amsterdam and they didnt do anything (literally). Of.course, if I had been the one cancelling the room in the last minute, they would have executed the guarantee, but being NH who cancelled they didnt take responsibility for nothing. I claimed the client services and I only got an email plenty of apologies, but disclaiming any responsibility as it had been a "technical problem". I was a regular client of NH hotels, but this.experience has changed my mind.Cuidado con las.reservas de NH Hoteles. El 29 de Mayo hice.una reserva para este hotel. En primer lugar, el precio estaba totalmente fuera de mercado (356.1€)por una habitacion individual, desayuno incluido por un hotel que esta bastante anticuado y que lo unico que tiene es la ubicacion. Aparte de el.precio, cuando llegamos al hotel no dijeron que por.un fallo tecnico, no teniamos habitacion, por lo que.nos encontramos a las 1.00 am, en Amsterdam sin sitio donde quedarnos y el.servicio del hotel no hizo absolutamente nada, mas que limitarse a decir que lo sentian, que habia.sido un fallo tecnico. Por supuesto, si hubiera sido yo el que hubiera cancelado a ultima hora, me hubieran ejecutado la garantia que habian pre-cargado a mi tarjeta, pero siendo NH el que lo hizo, declinaron toda responsabilidad. Puse una queja al servicio de atencion al cliente y me contestaron con un email plagado de disculpas, pero rechazando su responsabilidad. Era un cliente habitual de NH hoteles, pero despues de esto he cambiado de.opinion.”
