“I returned to The Drake after many years. We used to have such good times there as a young family. Now shabby elegance. Beautiful public areas but private rooms need some updating. The wallpaper was peeling. No luggage rack so we used the ironing board in the lovely closet. The scales provided seem to need the batteries replaced. Another arm chair would have been nice.”

“Great and friendly staff. Accommodations are first rate and you can never beat the views. Easy access to get wherever you need in the city. Front desk is knowledgeable and helpful. This is a old gem that people should not overlook. Location, price, friendliness. Our family has been staying here for years and I don't see us changing that tradition.”
