“I am very displeased with the service I received at this location. After a 16-hour drive from Louisiana to Virginia, I was told that there were no available rooms to check in early, despite having requested early check in at booking. Elizabeth, the hotel clerk, was very short and rude. Clearly, she had no compassion for our large group who traveled from around the country. For hours, we sat in the lobby/parking lot waiting on a room to become available. We noticed that there were a handful of cars in the parking lot which didn't reflect being "completely booked" as she stated. My family decided to drive around for a while & upon returning, I saw Elizabeth give another guest (who has just arrived) a room key. I was shocked! The manager came out and quickly resolved this by putting my family into a room. I'm grateful for that, but others in my group still had to wait. One lady in particular had a very poor experience with Elizabeth and I'm sure she'll be leaving feedback too. The room itself was not worth what I paid. It smelled like a middle school gym and the carpet was disgusting as if they neglected to vacuum. My group has decided to never use this location again & I’ll be sure to pass this message on to anyone else I know visiting the area.”

“Not a bad stay, certainly below what we expected for 181 dollars. Front desk was efficient and polite when we arrived at 10pm. The room wasn't filthy, but it didn't smell or feel clean either. Some items in the room were sticky, like maybe spilled soda ? The floor had toys on it, little dinosaurs ;-) so I'm guessing it wasn't vacuumed. The coffee pot was yuk, but there were only decaf coffee packs anyways, so no big deal. They had complimentary Starbucks in the lobby. The continental breakfast was packaged muffins, granola bars, or a banana. This location looks like it's getting ready for a makeover, the bed was ancient and left us both stiff and sore. Would not consider staying here again. When booking our stay, we purposely searched for something highly rated, so we'd have a comfortable stay. No hard feelings.”
