The front desk employee was a bright light for me on a miserable travel day. She was friendly, helpful, offered cookies and had me quickly off to my room. She was working after midnight last Thursday. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This wonderful hotel is smack dab in the middle of everything in the Newark/Fremont, CA area. It's right next to I-880, close to the main strip, lots of shops, restaurants, and stores. I arrived a few hours before check-in, and the desk attendant (Yodti?) was so nice and more than accommodating. She put me in another room that was cleaned and ready for me to rest after a long flight. The room was beautifully appointed with a mini fridge, coffee maker, gorgeous mountain views, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in in a long time. The shower was unbelievable! Great pressure, relaxing, and lots of hot water. There is live music at night in the bar area, prime rib special Fri & Sat, and room service. There is a $150 incidental fee but is returned at the end of your stay if there are no purchases. I now know where to stay the next time I'm in the area.

My Granddaughter and I celebrated her birthday here. We had a wonderful experience. Service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Beds and pillows were comfy. I had a most enjoyable weekend. I got a chance to visit Macys. I will be back ..soon.

The receptionist people were so kind so the hotel was nice nice .. we went to Fremont for my sons soccer tournament for the weekend and Omgosh they were so kind to let us check in early for free and waived the fee and also gave us courtesy to stay little longer.. I had all 6 kids with me and a new born so that was so helpful as the soccer games were changing. Thank you so much double tree hotel great stay amazing costumer service.

Nice hotel with a lounge and restaurant. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, decent WiFi, and a well laid out gym. The price varied by about 40% between weekday and weekend, but the location is worth it. Easy access to 101 and 880 with plenty of places to eat nearby.

As a Hilton Diamond member I expect Hilton to live up to its high quality of standards at all of its properties, whether they are corporate owned or franchises. I exclusively stay at Hilton properties and some, in my opinion, have lost sight of those high standards. The first time I stayed at this location on 8/15/22 the room we stayed in wasn’t as cool as I prefer; I need the room at 68 at least. Maintenance came up and checked it and the meter showed it was blowing out at 67-68, but it didn’t feel like it. During the night I had to sleep with no covers to sleep comfortably. Stayed again on 8/20, turned on the A/C to 68, left for 3 hours and upon return the room felt hotter than when I first arrived. Called front desk and Erika said she would check other rooms before moving us. We moved to a different room and, while it was cooler upon entry, I’m still waiting for it to cool down. Erica did what she could and she’s awesome. This property shouldn’t wait for issues like this to arise. They should be routinely checking the A/C. I’m constantly on the road and coming into a room that is either cooled before I get in or cools in a short amount of time is much needed. The hotel is nice and the bed is confortable, but the A/C issues is a big, big deal to me. I’m not so sure I would stay here again or recommend this place. If you’re not a hot body like me, then this may not be an issue. For people like me, perhaps check the A/C before you unpack and get comfortable. The only reason I didn’t rate lower than a 3 is because Ericka was nice about it and did what she could. Update on 8/22/22: The room was only cold during the night. Upon awakening and turning the lights on and normal moving about, the room warmed up and was uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to leave. I will NOT stay at this location when I come back for business. My sleep is important to me. DoubleTree used to be known as a high end brand. It doesn’t matter if the amenities are nice if you’re sweating during the night and can’t get a good nights sleep as a result of the heat box that you’re in. Hell, the hallway was a lot cooler than the room; I was tempted to protest by sleeping in the hallway.

Great hotel for the price. Clean and modern and located in a great spot. Felt safe and no problems coming and going at night. Plenty of parking. Pool was decent sized, not sure how long the jacuzzi is expected to be closed for repairs. Breakfast buffet ($25) is nice, but pricey. Lamp on nightstand was too dim to use for reading so I had to drag the floor lamp next to the bed. Was surprised at how cramped the bathroom is:/ Also, down comforter should have a duvet cover, it is not sanitary to have guests share this without any cover!!! YUCK!!!

The wife and I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Friendly check in. Young lady got us a room facing the garden area, very nice. Nice pool, although the hot tub is closed for repairs. Paid ten dollars extra (in advance) for the breakfast, but it was for a very basic American breakfast, not the fancy buffet which would have cost more. The bedding and pillow were super comfortable. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Excellent food, good value, served quickly. Good neighborhood. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area, as well as two shopping malls within 10 minutes drive.

My room was so quiet! It was clean and welcoming. The lobby was clean and welcoming. The staff at the front desk where some of the best i have had met in the last few months coming through hotels (yes i travel alot). I didn't use any of the amenities, but I saw some kids coming from the pool and they where all smiles which made me smile. This would be a hotel I would recommend and also return to.

This Hotel was in a location that was convenient for my family. Buffet breakfast was provided at an extra charge. The room was clean, updated, and everything was functional. There were some minor things that needed to be repaired such as leaking tub plug, loose mirror, and the sink faucet that leaked at the handle. Those maintenance issues did not affect our stay. We got a "garden view" room that faced trees blocking the highway. We also had a good view of the small homeless camp there. Regardless, we felt like it was a good, safe location.
