Clean Quit neighbors easy access all around nice establishment.

Staff allowed a party of 20+ people to drink and literally ‘party’ in the lobby well past 1 am Friday, the 20th of December. They were obnoxiously loud and those who did not party in the lobby partied in the rooms or hallway. Called and complained both nights of my stay and the noise continued despite numerous complaints from me and other people I knew who were staying. One of my family members who were staying on the 1st floor said they were woken up at 2 am from people still partying in the lobby. Hotels aren’t a party hub and it should have never been allowed to continue as late as it did considering all the complaints from my group. Blood stains on the comforter and dirt, hoping it was dirt, was smeared on the walls in places. The room had a dirty odor as well. Now I’m not biased against tattoos as I have a handful myself, but the front desk clerk had a tear drop tattoo. For those who are unfamiliar it is gang related. Tattoos are a way of self expression but it made my stay even more uncomfortable if the individual had gang relations, at least make that person cover it up during their shifts because it gives the wrong impression because of the history of the tattoo, not to mention Waterloo has a lot of violence related to gangs. I’ve stayed at this hotel for three consecutive years for when I come back to visit for the holidays but will be making new arrangements at a different hotel as this one is starting to go downhill as far as hospitality and cleanliness.

It’s either brand new or recently remodeled and beautiful. Staff was super helpful, room was pristine and super sharp. Value for this was excellent.

Hotel is nice, staff was friendly, breakfast was slightly above average but the rooms were less than impressive. Their website advertises pillow-top beds but they definitely are not. It was the worst sleep experience I've had in a long time. It was not the nice relaxing getaway for my Anniversary that I was hoping for. The pool is so tiny it's not even worth using and no hot tub is a big negative. I think I'll just skip staying at a Fairfield Inn & Suites in the future.

The rooms were nicely done and the service was excellent. The AC in our original room was making a loud noise. Michael at the front desk quickly switched us to another room and then called to verify that the second room was satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.
