“Espetacular. Poucos lugares tão bonitos como este.”
— David Farres
“A famous gem buried in paradise! As you drive up and down the windy mountain roads, you approach the entrance of a five-star resort with an abundance of heritage and legacy (Winston Churchill once stayed here when he was PM, Charly Chaplin and many others) nestled between the mountains, lush greenery and the beach. All of which make this location unbeatable in Mallorca or even many parts of the world. Welcome to heaven! As you enter the hotel reception and lobby area, you can smell fresh cut lilies (in assortments of colour) from their gardens. As you stare out the large bay windows you see a backdrop of royal palace like lush green gardens in-between a bright blue and turquoise sea. This is one of the most unique features of the resort and one that will have you coming back to this hotel time and time again. The rooms reflect a heritage and traditional design, yet are very cosy and clean with wonderful views of the sea and gardens. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed in Spain and Europe, with a huge range of healthy items all freshly produced, most of which seem to come from their own gardens. You get to enjoy this buffet from beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounds of the hotel. A great view for the most important meal of the day. All the meals we had at the hotel were excellent, including the room service we ordered on the first night. The hotel has a great range of amenities, including a sea-facing gym, spa area, a tennis court and a mini-golf course for kids. Due to the location, you can easily drive out to visit the surrounding tourist sites, as well as Pollenca and Alcudia. The staff were well spoken and were great and extremely helpful throughout all hours of the day. We had a very memorable trip and will surely be back again in the near future.Amit Sidhpura”
