Excellent service teams, great location, cozy restaurant and bar. I stayed for two nights to this hotel. Very peaceful place and I slept very well. Next day rain happened but I still could explore beautiful downtown arts museum cos it's only few blocks away. I ended up that night having very good chatting with my friends inside restaurant and bar sitting near to fireplace. overall, my experience was the memorable one. Thank you, all the staffs, for your courtesy and caring. Happy New Year!!

I am giving them one star for location. When we arrived they could not locate our reservation even after my partner showed them the confirmation email on his phone. Eventually they figured it out but it felt as if they were discouraging us from staying. The hallways were freezing on the first floor and our room was semi clean and smelled like body odor. It does not appear it was cleaned between guests and there was hair on the shower floor. My partner bought shower cleaner at the five and dime store to disinfect the shower but I still did not feel comfortable showering in it. Next, the parking is $22 a day in an outdoor, unsecured lot. For the price of the room parking should be free to guests. The walls are so thin , we could hear guests in the room next to us using the toilet, which made it difficult to sleep. After not resting all night, housekeeping started knocking at the door at 8:00 am even though check out time is 11:00.This is a one star hotel using it's location to trick tourists. Don't stay here.

Location is fantastic. The hotel staff are very courteous and attentive. The rooms look nice and the hotel is lovely. Our two biggest complaints: 1) The bathroom “door” is a sliding style barn door with a 3” gap, so there’s absolutely no privacy (especially if someone walks in the door to the room while you’re in there). 2) No hot water unless you run the shower for 20 minutes, and that’s no exaggeration. The first day they said the boiler pilot light had gone out. We’re now on our 3rd morning here and it’s the same story. I can tolerate a lot, but a cold shower isn’t one of those things. Edit: as frustrating as the hot water situation was, it was equally frustrating that there was no proactive communication to your customers. No one told us when we checked in that there was a problem, and no one kept us apprised of the situation during our stay. A sign posted at the front desk would’ve sufficed. Also, my husband suggests affixing trim the length of the sides of the barn door to the bathroom; that would create more privacy, if that’s a priority.

Weeks prior to our arrival, the hotel sent us a book on Santa Fe and a welcome letter from management. In all my years of travel, I've never experienced such a thoughtful, helpful package. The front desk staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is very convenient. The hospitality room on our floor was a bonus for extra space and a supply of chilled bottled water round the clock. Warm cookies in the afternoon, flavored water, and self-serve coffee all in the lobby are appreciated extras of first class hospitality.This hotel truly cares about its guests.

Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza hotel is a part of the Historic Hotels of America. The interiors, lobby, hotel rooms are beautifully decorated in Native American southwestern art and decor. This not a not a modern-urban-hipster hotel. The greetings and communication from front desk were very good. The hotel is very clean and I really appreciated that staying here. The king bed room size was very good, and has original artwork in the room. The bed was very comfortable, however the pillows were old and flat. The room was very quiet. The hallways feel very dark, and needed some decorative tables and art work. Walking to the town plaza takes 3 minutes or so, and so thats a very important feature of this hotel. A nice hotel, prices are high.
