“Hyatt at Olive 8 is one of my go to hotels in Seattle. The location is convenient to both downtown and lake Union, just a couple of minutes and you are in Pike Place or on the lake. Rooms are spacious and bright, bathrooms have everything you need plus a water saving shower. Reception and check-in took less than 2 minutes and staff was very professional. Checkout made online in 30 seconds, great service! “Hyatt has it” is very handy when you realize you left you personal care products home or worse, in luggage that is still in transit. Swimming pools are a great addition. The area was clean and towels were available for use. It would be better if the pool area was a quite zone. Unfortunately, during my stay, the pool was some kids’ playground. The hotel is Leed certified for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings.”

“The room was well-appointed, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was able to study in peace without any external noise to distract me. The view was also nice. I hate when hotel bathrooms are cramped, but this one was spacious. For reference, I had a standard room with a king bed. My mornings were a little hectic, so I just wish they had room service available to make things a little easier. I would stay at this hotel again in the future.”
