They don’t inform their guest about the $35 charges for valet parking, Although the room was quite small even though I ordered a king sized room. The customer service was okay and overall the experience was not what I expected from the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Excelente localização, com fácil acesso ao Galleria Mall a poucos minutos a pé, também várias opções de restaurantes a poucos minutos a pé. No momento da reserva online pensamos que os serviços estavam funcionando normalmente, alguns dias antes recebemos um e-mail do hotel informando que não haveria limpeza diária no quarto e que não haveria restaurante aberto, isso para a segurança do pessoal devido à pandemia por COVID-19. O check in foi rápido, chegamos ao quarto e à primeira vista estava tudo bem, porém o argumento de que a limpeza não seria feita diariamente não me pareceu congruente, por algum motivo achei que a medida estava bem e que no check-out dos hóspedes da o quarto seria completamente higienizado, a realidade é que a limpeza na saída dos hóspedes anteriores era muito pobre. Na pia havia cílios postiços deixados por hóspedes anteriores, no tapete havia laços de cabelo jogados fora, meio rolo de papel higiênico no banheiro, evidentemente já havia sido usado pelos hóspedes anteriores e não foi substituído. Fico feliz que este hotel cuide de seus funcionários, mas minha impressão é que eles não têm o mesmo interesse em cuidar dos hóspedes. Os restaurantes fechavam, não havia serviço de quarto também para a proteção dos funcionários, não havia literalmente nada para comer com exceção de batatas e refrigerantes. Claro, a piscina que tem áreas molhadas e pode ser uma fonte de contágio se fosse aberta. Devo mencionar que havia dispensadores de gel antibacteriano na entrada e nos elevadores. Compreendo os cuidados, porém fiquei com a impressão de que a segurança dos hóspedes não é uma prioridade e com o argumento dessa mesma segurança sacrificaram serviços e conforto. Não é um hotel ruim, só acho que o plano de contingência deles não era consistente. Quando a pandemia tiver melhorado, considerarei a possibilidade de ficar neste hotel novamente, espero que minha impressão seja diferente.

Excelente ubicación con fácil acceso a Galleria Mall a solo unos minutos caminando, también varias opciones para comer a solo unos minutos de distancia a pie. Al momento de reservar en línea pensamos que los servicios estaban operando normalmente, un par de días antes recibimos un email del hotel informando que no habría limpieza diaria en la habitación y que no habría ningún restaurante abierto, esto por seguridad del personal debido a la pandemia por el COVID-19. El check in fue rápido, llegamos a la habitación y a primera vista todo estaba bien, sin embargo no me pareció congruente el argumento de que no se haría limpieza diariamente, por alguna razón pensé que la medida estaba bien y que al checkout de los huéspedes de la habitación sería sanitizada a fondo, la realidad es que la limpieza a la salida de los huéspedes anteriores fue muy pobre. En el lavabo habían pestañas postizas dejadas por los huéspedes anteriores, en la alfombra habían ligas para el cabello tiradas, medio rollo de papel higiénico en el baño, evidentemente ya había sido usado por los huéspedes anteriores y no fue reemplazado. Celebro que este hotel cuide a su personal pero mi impresión fue que no ponen el mismo interés en cuidar a los huéspedes. Los restaurantes cerrados, no habia servicio a la habitación igual por protección del personal, literalmente no había nada de comer con la excepción de papas y gaseosas. Eso sí, la alberca que tiene áreas húmedas y puede ser una fuente te contagio si estaba abierta. Debo mencionar que habían dispensadores de gel antibacterial a la entrada, y en los elevadores. Entiendo las precauciones, sin embargo me quedé con la impresión que la seguridad de los huéspedes no es una prioridad y con el argumento de esa misma seguridad sacrificaron servicios y comodidad. No es mal hotel, solo creo su plan por la contingencia no fue congruente. Cuando la pandemia haya mejorado consideraré hospedarme de nuevo en este hotel, espero mi impresión sea diferente entonces.

Very nice hotel, but several issues. No social distance upon coming into the hotel. The hotel requires mask, but several people are seen without a mask. So many people were staying at the hotel. It was really packed and social distance didn't exist. The room I booked was not ready, but the hotel was very accommodating. They upgraded my room to a suite, which I appreciate. My room was on the same floor as the pool. I went out just to look at the pool and so many people were out at the pool. No social distance. I didn't notice a sign saying how many people could be at the pool. Kids were everywhere unattended. My room was good. But I did have a problem with someone attempting to enter my room the next morning. No one knocked on the door. Thankfully I had the latch on. I called the front desk, which was no help at all. I guess she was the manager, who came up to my room to further investigate my claim. She said it could have been housekeeping, but she didn't have the room listed to be cleaned early. This occurred at 8:40am. She never followed up after she said she would check with housekeeping manager and check to see who else it could have been. Right before checking out housekeeping attempted to come into the room. This is not safe especially for two women staying at this beautiful hotel. I seriously doubt I would stay again, because I didn't feel safe. Valet services was excellent. Those men were friendly and helpful. So was the urban restaurant. Everyone we encountered there were very nice, friendly and helpful. And so was the manager at check in. I am giving 3 stars because of them.

Arrived late, late Mr. Jame Let me check in as well as making sure I was taking care of for breakfast. Best spot if you’re visiting Houston.. always ask for Mr. James Haywood

The room was spacious for two. The view we got was of a garage. Nothing beautiful. The shower was a standing shower, the pressure was low.

Beautiful hotel and great price! I lucked out and got a corner room. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. This is my first time staying with Hyatt and I highly recommend.
