I just stayed here on a business trip. It was my first visit and it was truly outstanding. The hotel is very well appointed, in a great neighborhood and close to many great restaurants. The hotel is full of wonderful art and the food and service were excellent. We held our meetings in a sunny, library type space on the second floor. It was beautiful , comfortable and very conducive to a full day of collaboration. The AV equipment and support were top notch. It was nice to be in an atmosphere that both enabled productivity and was also relaxing and even inspirational. Nam took very good care of our team all day and made us feel like truly valued guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel for vacation or business meetings and i hope to return soon.

Outside of valet the service was fine, beautiful lobby, rooms are nice but starting to look worn down. Paint on the walls are chipped and the benches were stained. Despite Valet being a fast and useful service they left about a dozen fresh marks on my passenger side door. I don’t know if I forgot to tip once and they marked me down on their death note but sometimes it’s okay to slow it down to get it right. I did see a valet manager (perhaps he was just more senior, he was great the entire time I was there) yell at a younger employee to not throw the keys. He turned around and the kid immediately tossed another keys to another employee without missing a beat. Take that for what you will. The mini-fridge broke. The giant glass bathroom doors are pretty but aren’t square and hit glass on glass if you aren’t careful. The main wooden sliding bathroom door is heavy and has no handles, so have fun figuring that out at night without waking your family or partner up. The tub and sinks are really nice. I like the shower, but the water heater is so loud it sounded like a huge generator was kicking on and off while showering. Honestly this hotel was probably really nice when it opened and they cared, but in it’s current state it’s basically a glorified Holiday Inn Express with sloppy valet that costs several times more per night. Skip this one.

I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE HERE!! Haley at the front desk was kindest and was such a warm presence to welcome us! She made our stay so enjoyable! The cafe in the lobby has great pastries and coffee and the restaurant’s breakfast was DELICIOUS! We truly felt welcomed and cared for! Not to mention the location was so perfect for our festivites! We thought it was going to be loud since we were so close to the bars but it was shockingly not bad at all! We will definitely be back!

I stayed at this hotel December 2020 with my family. I am a platinum member and they were generous to give me an upgrade to junior suite and late check out. Staff were very nice. I remember that we had free beer in happy hour at the lobby. Room was very comfortable and spacious for 3 of us. It is very close to the lake so you can go for a walk easily. We had a good time in this hotel. This hotel might be pricy but I still recommend for the location and if you would like to have a luxury experience.

The downstairs is very pretty. They have a social hour 5-6 with free wine and margaritas. Staff is very attentive. There are multiple bars/restaurants a few steps away. You can hear the music from the 16th floor but it didn't bother me at all. The rooms are a little dated and dark. The hallways getting to the room are really dark also giving it a spooky look. Not the fanciest rooms but the location is awesome. Staff is amazing.

Liguei de volta na quarta-feira depois das 11 e fui informado por um supervisor da recepção que eles realmente não têm um concierge, mas ela ficaria feliz em ajudar. (Não sei por que eu recebi a informação anterior, mas tanto faz e estou começando a me sentir cético quanto ao nível de serviço deles) Eu expliquei que estaria comemorando um aniversário e gostaria de alguma ajuda, se possível, para encontrar uma reserva em algum lugar especial para o jantar. Ela anotou meu nome e disse que voltaria a entrar em contato, mas já se passou mais de uma semana e não ouvi mais nada.Seguindo em frente, liguei hoje para confirmar minha reserva e a recepção simplesmente atendeu o telefone "recepção". Eu tive que perguntar o nome dela.Estas podem parecer pequenas coisas, mas se você vai cobrar mais do que um Holiday Inn, você deve ter mais do que apenas uma boa instalação.Vou atualizar meu comentário após a minha estadia. I booked this hotel for my wedding night this coming weekend and called to ask a few questions and was treated very rudely and with 0 congratulating or excitement for the most special day of my life. Considering canceling (even though I know I’ll have to pay fees) to stay somewhere that I feel more confident my future husband and I will have a lovely experience given the occasion.

This review is a bit unusual since I haven't checked in yet. This review is based on my interactions with the staff thus far. I'm planning a stay there to celebrate my birthday and attend a concert. I called the hotel a few days ago and asked to speak with a concierge if they had one. I was told that the concierge would be in on Wednesday after 11 am (strange but ok). I called back on Wednesday after 11 and was told by a front desk supervisor that they actually don't have a concierge but she would be happy to help. (Not sure why I was given the previous information but whatever and am beginning to feel skeptical of their level of service) I explained that I would be celebrating a birthday and would like some assistance if possible in finding a reservation some place special for dinner. She took my name and said she would be back in touch but over a week has gone by and I've heard nothing. Moving on, I called today to confirm my reservation and the front desk simply answered the phone "front desk " I had to ask for her name. These may seem like small things but if you're going to charge more than a Holiday Inn you should have more than just a nice facility. I'll update my review after my stay. Hopefully it will be great!

O manobrista e equipe da recepção foram muito acolhedores, bem como Lance, Jessica e Clarissa !! Stayed here for a surprise birthday celebration for my wife and this is by far the BEST hotel experience I have had!! The valet and front desk team were very welcoming as well as Lance, Jessica and Clarissa!! They all made this celebration very top-notch and would recommend to anyone staying downtown to stay here at the Hotel Van Zandt!!

Serviço excelente e mais difícil de encontrar hoje em dia. Boa localização perto do rio, vida noturna, etc. Excelentes opções de comida no local também e uma grande piscina. A piscina é bastante pequena e fica lotada no verão, mas isso é de se esperar. O bar da piscina serve boas bebidas, picolés alcoólicos e pratos menores. Hotel tem alguns toques agradáveis ​​como café grátis (é excelente), cerveja grátis às vezes, bicicletas / scooters grátis e assentos confortáveis ​​no lobby para trabalhar ou se encontrar com pessoas.

Ótimo hotel. Ótima localização! À direita da rua Rainey e a 10-15 minutos a pé até Downtown dependendo de onde você está indo. Tem um bar na esquina que fica bem iluminado nos finais de semana. O hotel é muito bom em bloquear o ruído. A equipe foi super amigável. Esqueci o protetor solar e eles conseguiram me dar um pequeno frasco. A piscina é muito chique com bebidas fortes. Minha única pequena reclamação é que a alavanca da temperatura do chuveiro não estava no lugar, fazendo com que a alavanca caísse.

Great hotel. Great location! Right of Rainey street and a 10-15 minute walk to Downtown depending on where you’re going. There is a bar on the corner that gets pretty lit on the weekends. The hotel is pretty good at blocking out the noise. Staff was super friendly. I forgot sunscreen and they were able to give me a small bottle. Pool is very chic with strong drinks. My only small complaint is that the shower temp lever wasn’t staying in place causing the lever to fall down.

Excellent service which is harder than normal to find nowadays. Good location close to the river walking path, nightlife, etc. Excellent food choices on site too and a great pool. Pool is fairly small and gets crowded in the summer, but that's to be expected. Poolside bar serves up good drinks, boozy popsicles, and smaller food plates. Hotel has some nice touches like free coffee (it's excellent), free beer at times, free bikes/scooters, and comfy seating in the lobby to work or meet with people.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! Very hip vibe. Room was clean and spacious. Located right next to Rainey St. but room was quiet at night! Bikes available to take out for the day. Staff was super friendly and we got a local beer on the way in! Def recommend and would love to stay again next time in Austin :)

This hotel is amazing! The location is great. There's a lot of adult activities available and food all around. Geraldine's is on site and had a live band playing. The customer service was impeccable, Nik was helpful above and beyond! The valet service was outstanding and the gentlemen working the valet service where professional and kind, while still being prompt and reliable! I would highly recommend staying at the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt.
