“Upon entering, we pulled up to the front of the hotel and were told if we are self parking, we needed to go to the garage across the street and walk over. So we did just that. The garage isn't that big and if you find a space on the second level you just take the sky bridge right over to the hotel that takes you into the second floor of the hotel right by the ball rooms. We then took the elevator down to the lobby to check in. Check in was easy and they honored my Platinum status by putting us in a newly renovated room. Upon entering the room looked really modern but upon closer look, you could see that they took a lot of short cuts. This place feels more like a Sheraton than a Marriott. Shortcuts were on things like popcorn ceilings, old toilets (and also some of the lowest toilets I have ever seen), gold door knobs but shower and sink are chrome, older bed, etc. I think the worst was that they didn't update the hallways. It felt like you were in an old and dingy hotel. These things really took away from the renovation. Cutting corners is not going to cut it.”
