hospedado aqui última semana enquanto deixar nossa filha na Syracuse University. Se você quer um hotel novo, este pode não ser o seu lugar. Se você quer algo histórico e interessante, fique aqui - você pode cheirar e sentir a história! A equipe foi muito agradável. Se você é um Bonvoy Platinum ou superior, há um mezanino com uma variedade de comida e bebida (embora eles bloqueiem as bebidas alcoólicas às 18h). Os quartos são muito grandes e cheios de personalidade. A distância de carro do campus é muito próxima. Tivemos uma ótima estadia geral.A área é um pouco esboçada e, além do Irish Pub (que é excelente), fica um pouco a pé até algumas opções de jantar que podem não agradar a algumas pessoas. Além disso, planeje estacionar do outro lado da rua. Um lugar tinha uma taxa fixa de US$ 10 - sem entrada e saída, mas conveniente.Com certeza ficarei aqui novamente na próxima vez que voltarmos a Siracusa.

Stayed here last week while dropping off our daughter at Syracuse University. If you want a brand new hotel, this might not be your place. If you want something historical and interesting, then stay here - you can smell and feel the history! Staff was very nice. If you're a Bonvoy Platinum or above, there is a mezzanine with a spread of food and drink (though they lock up the alcoholic beverages right at 6PM). Rooms are very large and full of character. Driving distance to campus is very close. We had a great overall stay. The area is a little sketchy, and besides the Irish Pub (which is excellent), it's a bit of walk to some dinner options which might not please some people. Also, plan to park across the street. One place had a flat fee of $10 - no in and out, but convenient. I will definitely stay here again next time we're back in Syracuse.

Magnífico antigo Grand Hotel. lobby incrível e arquitetura geral. Funcionários simpáticos e prestativos. Não deu um total de 5 estrelas porque, para um hotel tão luxuoso, a roupa de cama era ruim. Minha primeira toalha parecia estar disponível desde que o hotel abriu. Mesquinho talvez, mas realmente fora do lugar. No geral, um lugar maravilhoso e muito legal.

Que lindo hotel! O lugar perfeito para um casamento ou um evento elegante! O nosso quarto era moderno, grande, bem decorado e muito confortável. Tanta história e muito mais por vir! Nós apreciamos ambos os restaurantes e a nossa estadia. Definitivamente confira quando estiver em Siracusa!

Magnificent old Grand Hotel. Amazing lobby and overall architecture. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn't give it an overall 5 star because for such a plush hotel the linens lame. My first towel seemed to have been around since the hotel opened. Petty maybe but really out of place. Overall a wonderful, really cool place.

What a beautiful hotel! The perfect place for a wedding or elegant affair! Our room was modern, large, well appointed and very comfortable. So much history and more to come! We enjoyed both restaurants and our stay. Definitely check it out when in Syracuse!

Hotel elegante e deserto de uma época passada. Mesmo com uma ou duas conferências, o lugar estava vazio, embora o único restaurante/bar aberto estivesse movimentado e hospedando uma noite de trivia. Serviço de arrumação parecia inexistente durante a estadia. Quartos limpos e espaçosos foram renovados, com alguns acabamentos originais, como portas de madeira esculpidas e banheiros modernos. A sala era pouco iluminada, com janelas que davam para uma garagem de vários andares.

Very historic hotel with comfy beds. When you enter the room for the first time and turn on the air, it smells kinda funky, but it goes away after the room has been ventilated. Not sure why only one shower door is able to slide because it’s an inconvenience to enter the shower and then to turn it on and wet yourself with freezing cold water! should have done a better constructing the showers. Staff is kind and helpful. Will be back!

Elegant, deserted hotel from a bygone era. Even with a conference or two, the place was empty, though the one open restaurant/bar was bustling and hosting trivia night. Housekeeping service seemed nonexistent during the stay. Clean, spacious rooms are renovated, with some original finishes like sculpted wooden doors, and modern bathrooms. The room was rather dimly lit, with windows looking on to a multistory parking garage.

CUIDADO! Eles não mantêm reservas. Tem 2 quartos via Hotels.com 5 mos. antes da formatura e cancelaram 3 semanas antes!! Se você não pode confiar na manutenção de uma reserva paga não reembolsável, como pode confiar em qualquer coisa que eles façam?Eu amo a resposta deles! Vamos olhar para isso e o indivíduo responsável. Não era nenhum indivíduo. Era SUA POLÍTICA. CUIDADO ainda. Eles me deram até 15 de março para cancelar ou eu seria cobrado. Por que, então, quando eles cancelaram muito além dessa data, eles se recusaram a me enviar os US $ 300 adicionais que sua apólice me custou? Esta é uma chocante NOVA ERA. Se eles podem cancelar pessoas com reservas confirmadas sem repercussões, imagine como você poderia se sentir seguro sobre o Marriott e uma reserva. Como disse Seinfeld, 'Marriott é bom em aceitar a reserva, mas fica muito aquém em manter a reserva honrosamente'.

BEWARE! They do not HOLD reservations. Got 2 rooms via Hotels.com 5 mos. before graduation and they cancelled 3 weeks before!! If you can't trust the keeping of a nonrefundable paid reservation how can you trust anything they do??I love their response! Let us look into this and the responsible individual. It was no individual. It was THEIR POLICY. BEWARE still. They gave me until March 15 to cancel or I'd be charged. Why then when they cancelled well beyond that date have they refused to send me the $300 additional that their policy cost me?? This is a shocking NEW ERA. If they can cancel people w/ confirmed reservations with no repercussions imagine how you could ever feel secure about Marriott and a reservation. As Seinfeld said, 'Marriott is good at taking the reservation but falls far short in honorably holding the reservation'.

Quarto não completamente limpo! Poeira atrás das camas, poeira na mesa de cabeceira, telefone sujo. Banheira manchada com agente de limpeza que não foi enxaguada/ou a banheira estava apenas suja. Calafetar preto no chuveiro. Acabamento sujo e empoeirado No banheiro atrás das torneiras da pia. Pintura do teto rachada no banheiro. Telefone não funcionando. Ninguém atendeu o telefone na recepção quando chamado com o nosso telefone celular. Teve que caminhar até o lobby várias vezes para o serviço. Pediu manutenção para vir consertar telefone mas ninguém apareceu. Atendente incapaz de dar tempo que a tecnologia de serviço chegaria. Não há como ligar com antecedência para agendar o serviço de quarto. Tem que “ligar quando acordar”. Não é conveniente com itinerário apertado. Ruído pelas janelas/ruído da cidade. Durante a nossa estadia, o proprietário estava comemorando com uma banda ao vivo para seus convidados (porque aparentemente ganhou um prêmio), mas isso tornou o lobby bastante barulhento, o que dificultou a conversa com o funcionário da recepção devido ao barulho. Travesseiros de cama eram de formas estranhas, muito pequenos, enfiados em pequenas fronhas. Eu adoraria saber se o proprietário dormiria nesses travesseiros. Também havia pontos questionáveis nos travesseiros. . Decepcionado, me perguntei se isso era realmente um Marriott? Esperaria melhor. Recomendaria.

Room not thoroughly cleaned! Dust behind beds, dust on nightstand, dirty phone. Tub streaked with cleaning agent that had not been rinsed off/or the tub was just dirty. Black caulk in shower. Dirty and dusty trim In bathroom behind sink faucets. Cracked ceiling paint in bathroom. Phone not operating. No one picked up phone at front desk when called with our cell phone. Had to walk down to lobby several times for service. Asked for maintenance to come to fix phone but no one showed up. Clerk unable to give time that service tech would arrive. No way to call ahead to schedule am room service. Have to “call when you wake”. Not convenient with tight itinerary. Noise thru windows/city noise. During our stay, the Owner was having a celebration with a live band for his guests (because he apparently won an award) but this made lobby quite loud which made it difficult to speak with clerk at front desk due to noise. Bed pillows were strangely shaped, very small, jammed into tiny pillow cases. I’d love to know if the owner would sleep on these pillows. Also there was questionable spots on pillows.. Disappointed, asked myself was this was actually a Marriott? Would have expected better. Would it recommend.

Adorável hotel histórico remodelado. A história por trás deste hotel é fascinante e encorajo qualquer pessoa a pesquisar antes de se hospedar, você poderá apreciar a decoração e as portas vintage. Os quartos remodelados são limpos e confortáveis. As camas são super macias e as janelas são grandes e brilhantes. A iluminação no banheiro facilita a aplicação da maquiagem. A pressão do chuveiro é forte e quente! Havia uma mancha nos meus lençóis, mas felizmente viajo com meus próprios lençóis de viagem, então não é um problema. Com certeza ficarei aqui novamente

Lovely remodeled historic hotel. The history behind this hotel is fascinating and I encourage anyone to look it up before staying, you’ll be able to appreciate the decor and the vintage doors. Remodeled rooms are clean and comfortable. Beds are super plush and windows are big and bright. Lighting in the bathroom makes it easy to apply makeup. Shower pressure is strong and hot! There was a stain on my sheets but luckily I travel with my own travel sheets so not a problem. Will definitely stay here again

Es difícil conseguir un hotel Marriott y decir que esta mal, y de nuevo voy a un hotel Marriott y me consigo con una arquitectura increíble, espacios cómodos, un fitness center increíblemente bueno, atención a los huéspedes muy buena y lo mejor es que aceptan mascotas (con un fee) pero eso es bastante importante para mí y mi esposa que nos gusta viajar con nuestro perro. Lo único malo son las almohadas, que terminan hundiéndose y ni a mí esposa ni a mí nos gustaron las almohadas pero todo lo demás está bastante bien.
