“Stayed here for a weekend stay. For $200 a night the room was cramped but adequate and clean. There wasn't really a place to put a bag that wasn't in the way or on the bed, and no place to hang anything except in the shower. The basin is in the room which is okay - at least you can brush your teeth while someone uses the toilet. There's a microwave and fridge in the room which is convenient. The room had window A/C which was cranked way up when we arrived so it certainly works to keep the room icy cold. It was a bit rattley when cooling but not bad. Neither I nor I had problems sleeping. The bed was firm but not hard. Two pillows. Clean comfortable sheets. Plenty of towels. My wife thought the shower pan was very slippery, I thought it was average but definitely not non-slip. The shower curtain was mounted a few inches too high so the floor got wet when we showered. The hotel staff I spoke to were polite and helpful, no complaints there. The hallways of the hotel were kind of sad - looks like they are in the middle of painting since there were areas patched for painting all over but no fresh paint. Finishing that would go a long way to improving its look. Unlike others I had no problems with locks but I would add that like many motels the hallways outside your room area easily accessible to the outside so absolutely you need to keep your door locked and not having a functioning lock would be a real breaker especially as there are no room safes. We didn't have any problem with noise from neighbors or outside but we were at the back of the hotel which backs onto a quiet alley. If you had a Beverly Blvd facing room it might be noisier. The windows had solid closing blinds on which were virtually black out. For the person who said they had a roach in their room - I think that is because the doors are missing a sweep so whatever is in the hallway can crawl in and as I noted the hallways are essentially open to the outside. I took a photo of how much light shines under the door - I think the hotel should have door sweeps installed to make it harder for bugs to get in. The hotel has parking in the basement level for about 13 cars and it is down a steep ramp. While parking is fine getting out of you have a long or wide car may be intimidating. Either you back out (I saw a pickup truck do it) or you make a lot of back and forwards to get lined up to make it out without scratching your sides In many locations this would be a $50 a night hotel but in LA on a weekend is more like $200 a night. It's a big city, right across from a CBS recording lot, 10 minutes from Hollywood Bowl (without the ever present traffic) and loads of good places to eat and drink close by. So it is what it is and for us it was good enough - the parking could have been a bit easier but it had it and it was free, and the room could have had a bit more room but we didn't spend but a couple of hours there not sleeping.”

“Really solid place. It wasn't perfect, cricket got in the tub, had to fix the toilet plug, one of the lamps didn't work, BUT that was some of the best water pressure of my life! The level of amenities was decent, the courtyard cute, but bummer the soda machine was OOO. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was great. Walkable to Beverly Hills, Melrose shopping, Fairfax buses and not too expensive of an uber to Sunset / WeHo.”
