“We rested in this hotel in mid-August. When choosing a hotel, we reviewed a lot of hotels on about. Hainan, after which they chose St. Regis, after booking via booking, after a while we received a letter written in Russian from a hotel employee named Alexei, he described in great detail the points of interest to us, for example, how to set up the Internet (there are certain difficulties with it in China), he ordered us a transfer from airport (not cheap, but we were sure, since we flew to China for the first time and knew that not all Chinese knew English well), as well Alex wrote that since we arrive at night, and they check in from 14.00, we provide a room for relaxation. Arriving in Hainan, we passed the procedure of mandatory fingerprinting, which is very correct! In the arrivals area we were greeted with a sign, taken to a hotel by minivan and quickly checked into our room. The room is large, bright, with a large balcony, large bathtub, shower, two sinks, huge stained glass Windows, TV, air conditioning, coffee machine, refrigerator, safe. The room was very clean, which was the key for us in choosing a hotel, they cleaned so often and changed the bed and towels, sometimes we hung a sign: do not disturb! Breakfast takes place in a large restaurant, but again, Alexey, we were assigned to a restaurant, which is almost on the shore, there are fewer people! Breakfast is super, everything is very tasty, there is Chinese cuisine and European, in general, as it turned out, this hotel is mainly visited by Chinese, Russians and Europeans, several people saw it. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant, they cook delicious Peking duck, the prices in restaurants are high! We went for lunch and dinner at a food court nearby, recently opened, they sell fresh seafood that can be cooked right away, a Chinese guy is standing at the entrance to this food court, by coincidence his name is Alexander, but it seems that he’s probably not Alexander, knows Russian very well and helps to choose a menu. The hotel has two Pools, both have a children’s area, both are very clean, lifeguards are everywhere, there are a lot of umbrellas and sun loungers, there are few people during the day, generally the Chinese bathe a little, and then mostly in the evening when the sun sets. One of the pools was closed for repairs on 08.20, sort of like a month. The beach is very clean, also sun loungers, towels, lifeguards again, and when you swim behind the buoys, it starts to whistle wildly! The water is clean, moderately warm, the beach is gentle, for comparison, this hotel has one of the best beaches. Carlton’s Ritz don’t have it at all, it’s washed off for a couple of years, Pulman doesn’t have it, he’s on the second line, Hilton and Marriott have it, but they’re somehow in such a zone that other hotels go there and the locals go there, and our hotel I’d be on the sidelines, and at an impasse, and there are no strangers, only Hyat has the same beach, but it’s shallow there, walk 300 meters to reach 1.5 meters. In general, we have never regretted that we chose this hotel, but if there weren’t Alexey’s constant care for us, I don’t know it would be all at the same high level! We will come again!”

“Above and beyond. This vacation has been a dream, from staff to rooms to restaurants. It was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Beautiful and spacious suites and great view and balcony and tubs. Food was beyond amazing!
