Unpleasant stay - room was hot (no air conditioning) so staff said to sleep with patio sliders open. Ants in room. Customer service said that was because sliders were open. Checkout was awful - computers not working and staff had no idea what to do. Items that should be hot at breakfast were cold (at 730 when breakfast opened), juices had settled and bread was hard. Location is good... not not worth the $$$.

Good location and good breakfast. The view in the room was amazing. The rooms doesn’t match with the description, there was a unpleasant smell coming from the toilet plus infiltration in the walls. The toilet seat was broken and the shower drain was clogged!! For sure doesn’t worth the price and the stars… sure the 4 stars came from the known name os the hotel.

Perfect location! The hotel itself could use a little bit of updating. The room was very basic and the elevator was only working sporadically. Still, it's a nice stay if you're looking for convenience. It also had a nice big balcony with great views.

Modest hotel in mid-80's bldg. Decor is dated but can't beat the location steps away from the main Sintra square and the National Palace. Hotel is built on the side of a steep hill. Reception is on the 4th floor, which is the ground entrance from the front, but floors below and above had guest rooms. My room was on the 1st floor which felt a bit like going down into the basement, but once in the room I found it open at the back -- airy and light with a balcony and views out of the back of the hotel across the city. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and a good size. Wifi worked with good speed. Didn't use the restaurant or bar but looked pleasant enough. Some of the carpets in the hallways were stained and a bit grubby- but no issues with room cleanliness.

Good location but busy area. Great service from Nadia, Jessica, Vania and others at the front desk and housekeeping. They try hard. The rooms are just ok. Bathroom has lots of problems: drainage problems at the sink and shower where the water sits too long. Faucets have too much pressure and water goes everywhere.

Muito bem localizado! E tem estacionamento (pago) apesar de que não há para todos os hóspedes. Quando fomos não tivemos problemas. Infelizmente o Google Streetview não chega até ele e ficou confuso para chegar até o hotel, pois Sintra tem um trânsito por ruas estreitas e sinuosas, que às vezes se tornam complicadas e difíceis, porque o GPS não funciona a todo momento.

Tivemos que mudar 3 vezes de quarto, os quartos não tinha sido inspeccionados (Estavam as casas de banho sujas, cheios de pó as portas das varandas não fechavam... A água dos duches saí toda para fora, tivemos uma inundação num dos quartos... Tive que pedir uma limpeza e manutenção geral nos últimos quartos onde ficamos porque também estavam péssimos. Está tudo extremamente degradado... Relativamente ao pequeno almoço, muito fraco para um hotel de 4 estrelas.As refeições deixam muito a desejar para além de levar imenso tempo a chegar o que quer que seja a comida não tem sabor e as proporções são minimas...O profissionalismo dos trabalhadores também tem que ser melhorado, precisam de ter mais formação na área de hotelaria e de etiqueta e protocolo.São simpáticos mas só a simpatia não chega.Bem sei que não são os funcionários que têm culpa porque são muito poucos e não conseguem dar conta de tudo.A direcção precisa de intervir urgentemente.De 4 estrelas este hotel não tem nada. Diria que é hotel de 2 estrelas com uma ótima vista.Desejo as maiores felicidades a todos os funcionários.

La ubicación es Excelente. Si viajas a Sintra y buscas ubicación es el hotel perfecto. Sin embargo, aunque las habitaciones han tenido un lavado de cara, las puertas y el mobiliario es muy viejo y está estropeado. Del desayuno es mejor no hablar. Variedad muy muy muy poca, pero siempre puedes desayunar Cereales que eso si tienen. Personal muy agradable. En nuestro caso nos encontramos dos mini almohadas y les pedimos dos más y sin problema. Las vistas son muy bonitas.

Nice hotel, View from the room is breathtaking ( hill view), Parking available in front of the hotel, nice staff, room is good, comfortable bed, near attraction sites, palace is only accessible by taxi or Bus( not allowed for private cars),and the hotel is near bus station.

Nos dieron una habitación muy amplia. Magnífica situación. Las calles para llegar en coche son muy complicadas. Existen unas diez plazas para coches en la puerta del hotel totalmente gratis

Esta en pleno centro , pero el susto de llegar en coche por las calles de Sintra , calles tan estrechas y con curvas tan cerradas , te hace pensar en no mover el coche durante la estancia . El hotel está muy bien y muy buen desayuno.

Hotel ideal para visitar Sintra, en pleno corazón (frente al palacio nacional) y muy cerca de la Quinta da Regaleira (15 min a pie), también próximo a la parada de bus 434 que lleva directo a Castello dos mouros y Palacio Da Pena. Las habitaciones están bien, limpias y cómodas, con balcones con unas espectaculares vistas. La atención del personal también muy buena, sin problemas para entender el idioma y siempre muy atentos y serviciales. Lo único un poco más cortito es el desayuno, en comparación con otros hoteles, pero en general está correcto. Repetiría sin duda.

Céntrico y tranquilo, hotel muy recomendable. Habitaciones cómodas y limpias. El personal muy atento. Ten cuidado si llegas en coche siguiendo las indicaciones del GPS, porque corres el riesgo, de perderte en callejuelas estrechas. Por ponerle un pero, es complicado el acceso al parking y la accesibilidad a las plazas de garaje.

Provavelmente o quarto com a vista mais espetacular em que estive dentro do contexto de Sintra que como Byron escreveu, "é provavelmente um dos sítios mais bonitos do mundo." O amanhecer com o Castelo dos Mouros ainda envolto na neblina matinal deu ainda maior tranquilidade à nossa estadia......além de umas fotos esperaculares. Já tinha estado uma vez, e vou voltar e em épocas diferentes do ano. Recomendo mesmo!

Preço demasiado elevado para o que oferece. Não está ao nível de hotéis da mesma classificação. A precisar de intervenção de manutenção em diversas áreas (corredor e quartos). Apenas disponível 1 toalha de rosto para 2 pessoas; Amenities disponíveis muito fraco (apenas o básico shampoo, gel e 1 sabonete); Camas twin quando se reserva doble; Pequeno-almo fraco em variedade, apresentação e qualidade (tudo muito fraccionado, parecia racionado; café com leite de máquina ), com uma funcionária a retirar os pratos com as pessoas na mesa, sem terem acabado ainda de comer. Não recomendo, sobretudo para o preço cobrado.

O parque privado do Hotel é minimo nao se consegue estacionar, para ir de carro para o hotel as ruas são muito estreitas e se tiver carros estacionados é horrível quase não se passa.

Localização 5 *, Staff da recepção muito simpático e disponível. Pequeno almoço com produtos de qualidade. Talvez o ponto menos positivo,é alguma degradação, porta da casa de banho danificada e seria benéfico rever a questão da alcatifa.

RESUMEN DE TODO! Seré breve, el acceso malisimo casi nos multan por ello.El parking interno, Sin comentarios todo un circo para aparcar. Las instalaciones, bien limpias y con el añadido de estar en pleno centro.Servicio de habitación PÉSIMO en una estancia de siete días, Dos de ellos,no nos han arreglado la habitación, nos han tenido que subir toallas de recepción. Otro día se llevaron el mando de la TV entre las sábanas y todos los días hemos tenido problemas con las tarjetas.Lo triste es que económicamente aún no haciendo las habitaciones, no nos han recompensado en nada el precio de la estancia . No "sorry" from front-desk. Beds are terrible. Covid passaport required to enter but no information any were. Completly illegal form of descrimination, Formal complain fullfilled.

O hotel está em fase de remodelação. O hall de entrada e espaços comuns estão ótimos. O quarto tem mobiliário novo e casa de banho moderna, mas a alcatifa está a precisar de renovação urgente, tal como a parede do exterior do hotel. Localização excelente e funcionários muito prestáveis e simpáticos.

Hotel perfecto para quedarte en Sintra. Las habitaciones muy limpias y las camas superbien. Hemos descansado genial! El desayuno correcto y el personal del hotel muy amable. Me quede enamorada con las vistas de la terraza del lobby. Lo único difícil el acceso de las plazas del parking.

Positive points: 1. Amazing view 2. Nice check-in. They kept our luggages since we've arrived early. After hiking they already put our luggages in our room. Negative points: 1. Equipment of the room was disappointing. Plastic coffee cups (even 3 star hotels provide real espresso cups) Entrance light was blinking. So we had to kept turning it off. Terrace door didn't close correctly. Toilet flushing button popped up out. They left a tiny bottle of shampoo and a shower gel for 2 persons. So I had to ask them more. 2. Horrible breakfast Breakfast was not buffet like other hotels. Once we sit, a waiter gave us one plate of ham and cheese(3slices of cheese 3 slices of ham) + bread basket and one small plate of fruit. They had to ask if we wanted coffee or tea but they were so busy to cover all the table. We waited for 10 mins to ask coffee but they didn't come. So I had to go to the bar table in order that they could recognise me. I don't understand why they keep this breakfast system. Either should open buffet breakfast or hire more waiters to cover all the tables. After finishing it, we were still so hungry. The waiter came to us. I thought he would ask if we wanted more food. But he asked us if he could clean the plates. We came out from hotel remaining very hungry.

We had the most wonderful experience at Tívoli Sintra. The location is perfect to see all of the historical sites and tour the town. The most incredible thing is the view. We had a balcony overlooking the castles, it felt like we were nestled in the mountains, like out of a romantic movie. It’s truly magical! The restaurant is delicious and the included breakfast was excellent. The customer service was above and beyond. When we mentioned to the waiter that we were on our honeymoon, he sent a bottle of champagne and dessert up to our room. It really made our evening special! I just wish we had more time to spend here! We will definitely be back. Thanks for the fantastic stay!

Great location with spectacular view, 2 minutes walking to National Palace of Sintra. Helpful staff. Room and the place in general is quite old but spacious. Nice breakfast. Parking garage available at 10 euro per night.

While the view from the balcony was lovely, the view of the room was not. 🤣 Even though the room was spacious it was in desperate need of refurbishment. I would definitely not call this a 4 star hotel. For the price I expected far more. Even though we had some problems with the room, the staff were amazing and tried their best at keeping us happy. The only redeeming factors were the staff and the hotel location, which is super central.
