“I'll start by saying we have stayed at six different hotels in Los Cabos. I expected more from this "5 star" resort and would chose The Cape over this hotel any day.
Pros:
- Comfy lounge chairs by the pools
- Nice patio space off of the room
- Housekeeping good and consistent
Cons:
- I emailed the concierge for a dinner reservation at their rooftop restaurant to celebrate our babymoon and they confirmed the reservation. When we checked-in a bellman told us the rooftop was closed for a wedding. When I spoke to the concierge they were unapologetic and made us a reservation at their other restaurant which is a raw bar instead. Not great a great menu for a pregnant person....We ended up getting dinner off-property.
- Food and drink service by the pool was spotty at best. Most days it felt like the waiters were intentionally trying to ignore us. A 15% service fee is included in the price of the menu items so I'm not sure if it that makes the waiters unmotivated to provide good service. We tipped on top of this despite our issues with service.
- Food at the pool and breakfast restaurant is overpriced for the quality. $10 for drip coffee. $25 for two small fish tacos that were dry and without flavor.
- When we checked-in we received no information about the property - what restaurants they had, the different pools (found out from a waiter that there's one on the roof of one of the buildings), how to use the gym, etc.
- One of the pillows on the bed had a hole in it and another other one was shredding at a seam. Not something I would typically care about but it's not acceptable for a 5 star hotel.
Overall a nice property but it misses the mark in terms of food and hospitality in my opinion.”

“Se eu pudesse dar a eles 0 estrelas, eu o faria. Nós tentamos pegar uma bebida neste hotel do lado da praia e eles não nos deixaram entrar. Eles insistiram que nós circulássemos todo o hotel e entrássemos pela frente porque a área de trás era apenas para hóspedes (veja bem, eles não tinham convidados lado de fora). Fazia 90 graus e já tínhamos caminhado um quilômetro e estávamos pagando clientes dispostos a pagar por bebidas, mas eles nos recusaram a entrar. Eu estava com meu tio de 60 anos e eles claramente não se importavam com hospitalidade ou atendimento ao cliente. Eu não vou visitar novamente, muito decepcionado com este hotel.”
