Luxurious Accommodations and Exquisite Dining at Le Meridien Barcelona

I stayed here for 3 nights for vacation. My upgrade certificates cleared and was moved to a junior suite. The room is very spacious and clean. The bathroom is large with heated floor. There's a walk-in closet with lots storage. The only thing I wish they had were power plugs on the desk. There is one on the floor behind the desk, but it was a bit of hassle to get to. Maybe add a power bar on the desk so people can work if needed. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a large selection to choose from. Location is excellent if you like being a tourist and close to everything. Very easy to grab a taxi right by the entrance of the hotel.

Small rooms Moldy fridges Not that great faculties Way too old furniture Room service that serves horrible food with not that much classic selections to begin with (no pizza or any pasta !) How is this a 5 star hotel ? The staff however are really professional and great. I really feel sorry for them. Not that great price as well

We spent 5 nights here over New Year's and the staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is perfect to most everything in central Barcelona. We rented one of the rooms with the outside patio and took advantage of sitting out during the early evening to eat and drink. We had dinner in the room for New Year's Eve and the service for dinner was excellent.

A very enjoyable city break stay at this city centre hotel. It is perfectly located on La Rambla with many sites within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and Covid guidelines very much adhered to. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is continental with a varied selection. A good nights sleep is guaranteed in the very comfortable bed and linen. Did not avail of any of the hotel amenities but would return again for a short break.
