“I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Regina from beginning to end. The ladies at the front desk were really sweet and friendly. They gave me suggestions for coffee shops and always asked me how my day was. I loved the welcoming fragrant when I first entered the hotel, little details are everything. The renovations are so modern, cozy and beautiful. It was really lovely they kept some of the original pieces of the hotel like the stairs. The room was okay, thankfully the washroom was nice. It was a bit annoying to have 2 single beds pushed together. There was no natural sunlight and I found a massive cockroach near the mini fridge. I know it's not the fault of the hotel. The location was absolutely PERFECT, especially for a single traveller. I always felt really safe walking home at night and was in walking distance of EVERYTHING and close by to the metro stations as well.”

“We stayed here because it had large rooms that could accommodate our family of four but I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is a bit too centrally located for our tastes and the rooms are a little run down. The most disappointing thing though was how they treated us when we asked if we could eat breakfast in our room. We have resumed traveling amidst covid and all over Europe there is outdoor dining to make traveling easier. Breakfast was included in our room rate but the small dining area was always crowded so after the first day we asked if we could take our plates to our room. At first they said no but then changed their minds. The next morning they said we needed to return the plates to the restaurant because it made housekeeping unhappy. We would have done that the previous day but for a misunderstanding. By the third day they said - very rudely- that if we wanted to eat in our room we had to carry the food in our hands so we all ended up just eating in an outdoor cafe. I know many aren’t concerned about indoor dining but we have yet to resume doing so if it is crowded. The fact that we were treated as if our request was absurd would ensure that we never return even if it were a four star hotel, which it is not.”
