The most responsive and understanding hotel and parent company (Silken). Even though I had a non-refundable booking they cancelled my booking with no penalties since I live in the US and it is such an unknown when I could travel to Spain. I hope to travel again when things stabilize and I will definitely be trying to book with Silken.

Due to the current worldwide health concerns and cancellation of the event we were due to attend we have not visited the Silken Ramblas yet. The Silken Ramblas will definitely be up there with the best custom er relations for their understanding of our need to cancel our booking. Looking forward to visiting this hotel as soon as travel allows. 5 stars from me . Michael + Breege Brennan

Great hotel! All clean and not too expensive to be in the center of Barcelona!

Didn't expect the quality from the outside of the hotel, but nicely kept indoors. Gym didn't have any working equipment and sauna was not working either. Good to be within walking distance of city cites.

1. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable and the room is very hot. Had a very hard time sleeping more than a couple of hours from the heat, noise, and very uncomfortable beds and pillows. The rooms are clean though. 2. Very noisy at night. You can hear doors opening and closing outside the room as if it's next to your head. 3. No water in the lobby. Every decent hotel I've been to in Europe has water in the lobby for guests to drink. 4. They do not provide conditioner for your hair or moisturizer. Bring both from home. 5. Supposedly they have a rule that you can't store your personal items in the mini bar fridge. At the same time if you bring in food from a restaurant from outside the hotel won't store it either in their fridge so they made an exception for us and came and took everything out of the fridge and told us we had to put our restaurant food in a bag so it doesn't smell up the mini bar Fridge. I've never had this experience in any other hotel. 6. The hotel rooms are hot unless it's hot then the air conditioning is on. Otherwise you only get heat at other times of the year. 7. Positive notes: the location is excellent. Right in the center of everything. But the hotel itself is like a youth hostel.
