“We stayed for 7 nights at The Reserve for the beginning of June 2019. We had an amazing time. When we first got there, we were greeted by many friendly staff members. One of our favorites, Samuel, sat us down, went through the check-in process and explained how everything worked. We were soon taken through the grounds and up to our room. The hotel grounds are immaculate: always sparkling clean thanks to the hardworking staff who are making sure everything is picture perfect and safe. There are many restaurants to choose from that need prior reservations. We ate at Vento, Bana, Aqua, and Fuego. Bana and Fuego were our favorites. We had other reservations scheduled but cancelled them after trying the buffet good which was SO much better than I could have hoped for. Many things there are made fresh to order and there are so many options, you can’t go wrong. The beach is gorgeous and so are the pools. We loved The Reserve because we had the option to be at our pool or the other main Paradisus pool. The room was clean and spacious. Although some things were a little off- closet doors wouldn’t fully close, etc but nothing that was distractingly bad.Highlights: THE STAFF! Every single person was unbelievably generous and helpful. Our favorites were Willy Pena the bartender at the Reserve pool and Marcelo the bartender at the Paradisus pool. Anything you need, they will get for you with a smile.Clean, safe, well-maintained.Food was surprisingly great especially at the buffets.Drinks were always flowing.Downsides:The bugs. Hotel can’t help that at all, but I do recommend bug spray at nightSalespeople on the beach and even occasionally at the pool. I am hoping the hotel can look into ways for guests to be left alone, it made us want to spend less time at the beach.The Dominican Republic is a beautiful country and I am so glad I experienced it at the Reserve. Thank you for the great experience, we look forward to our next trip back.”

“As instalações do hotel em geral são boas, amplas e funcionais. O atendimento é normal em geral e alguns funcionários, de maneira esporádica, se destacam pela simpatia, atenção e prestatividade. A prerrogativa "The Reserve", indicada para famílias e um serviço/estrutura mais exclusiva deixa a desejar pois não destaca-se muito do padrão normal do hotel (área fora do The Reserve).A localização das alas do The Reserve é afastada da praia (8-10m) a pé e cerca de 3m com os carrinhos. Aqui outro detalhe, a disponibilidade de carrinhos não era adequada. Por algumas vezes o serviço é confuso e demorado, passando carrinhos que se recusam a te levar em algum local pois só fazem um determinado trajeto ou estão lotados. Por mais de duas vezes acenamos para o carrinho parar e nos pegar e não fomos atendidos.Os alimentos e bebidas são ótimos e mais exclusivos no The Reserve, a parte gastronômica é muito boa e os restaurantes também tem cardápios bons e adequados. Nos principais restaurantes (quase todos são compartilhados com o restante do Hotel, mesmo hospedes que não estão no The Reserve), fica uma sensação de alto giro com garçons e atendentes correndo para atender rápido e liberar a mesa para o próximo turno de clientes. Fiquei com a sensação de mistura de restaurante diferenciado com fast food.Usamos o SPA em um dia, com impressões moderadas, pois não acompanha o restante da estrutura do hotel. É bem feito mas pequeno e com opções restritas de instalações. Os serviços são bons, as saunas, piscinas, etc, são pequenas e ok.O Kidsclub e a piscina para crianças do The Reserve foram muito aproveitadas por nossa filha e são um ponto positivo para quem vai com criança, mas lembrando que fica longe da praia.O mar na época que fomos (novembro 2016) estava com ondas baixas mas fortes, inadequado para crianças pequenas, mas sem empecilhos para jovens e adultos. Alguns ambulantes vendendo charutos, passeios, óculos, etc chegam a incomodar um pouco mas nada crítico. Há salva-vidas em frente ao hotel em pontos estratégicos.O serviço de quarto falhou em arrumar o quarto em um dia (não tivemos arrumação), porém mostrou-se adequado nos outros, trocando toalhas, roupa de camas (incluindo um dia de acidente com o nenê sem fralda na nossa cama) e amenities (que também são normais).Os concierges e time de receptividade na recepção do The Reserve foram cordiais e solicitos, incluindo a organização de champagne no quarto e bolo de aniversário”
