“Had a 2 night staycation. This was a great location because it's quiet with plenty of restaurants! The lobby was inviting and serene. Couching in/out was quick. I got a room far away from the elevator and things were quiet. The room smelled clean and wasn't stuffy or damp. Room colors are vibrant and not at all over-powering. The room desk was nice and large but the ergonomic desk chair didn't elevate very high. No stains or rips on the carpet or chair and ottoman. Bed/linens were nice and comfy. The pillows were fluffy but a tad bit too soft. Nonetheless, I got a good night's rest! The room temp was perfect. I was able to adjust the air-conditioning to my liking which was great! Basic cable was okay wish there was HBO. However, the room has a microwave and refrigerator which I used which more than makes up for the lack of HBO! Another plus is that there are plenty of outlets and lights in the room and bathroom. I wish they had a magnifying mirror in the bathroom but that's not a big deal. I didn't eat breakfast because it was a short stay but it is a nice option. The pool and workout room looks just like the pics. Laundry room was a great addition. However, I rated my stay 4 stars because the front desk clerks could be more hospitable. They were too indifferent. Also most importantly, there is no in room safe to store your valuables. For 205.00 a night, they should have a room safe. I can't understand why this establishment doesn't. I rechecked their site and looked at their amenities and sure enough indoor safe isn't listed. Shocked and disappointed about this issue. I called the front desk to inquire and they confirmed that there's no room safe. I had to drag my laptop and valuables around with me when I would leave the hotel. One other issue, $24.00 a day to park is too much. It would be nice if city residents could get a discount.”

“A bunch of issues to list: 1. I called in my booking, received a rate, but didn't receive the email confirmation. 2. Called back the next day requesting an email confirmation. Gave them my email address again. The person that I talked to said "he was pretty sure that they cannot resend a confirmation. I should have been more concerned at this point (red flag number 2) 3. I arrived at the hotel, a very nice woman told me that my stay was the night before (3 times I was told this). 3 times I replied that I am here now "the day that I booked for". However unfortunately, I never received my confirmation. She then talked to the manager and I was given a room. 4. No hot breakfast available due to staffing. Honestly I am not mad about that. 5. After I left the hotel I received my "email" bill. The bill was for $40.00 more than the original price. Which is also $40.00 more than web based pricing that I saw before booking the room. Based on the above I believe they charged me a premium for a same day stay. I recommend staying at one of the other 9 hotels within walking distance. Hopefully this helps someone!”
