“I'm a Hilton Honors member. I stayed in room 525. I arrived on Wednesday 6/22/22. The room was dirty and foul. The mirrors, counters, faucets and bathtub had not been sanitized appropriately. The mirrors and counter surfaces had been wiped down with something that wasn't clean. The main room and bathroom mirrors had obvious smears. The shower had black mold and did not look clean. The bathroom faucet was loose and dirty underneath. I didn't sleep very well because I was afraid of the bed sheets having lice and bedbugs. I considered sleeping on top of the bed in my street clothes.
I stayed two nights. I contacted the front desk twice about the room. The response was "Oh I'm sorry. I'll let housekeeping know". I caught the maintenance staff in the elevator after my first night. The came in and calked the shower after my first night. That helped but there was still black mold in the shower from lack of cleaning.
The buffet breakfast is more of a continental breakfast. There's a minimum of choices unless you want to pay $25 for a made to order breakfast.
I had to leave early on Friday and asked the front desk for a wake-up call. I did not receive the wake-up call. The front desk was not helpful at all.
For $225/night I expect much better than this. I'll be looking for another place to stay the next time I have to go to SFO to work.”
