“Loved the look of the hotel online and we drove 6 hours to have a nice getaway and hike/kayak in the area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. The pillows were stained and no pillow covers. The headboard was ripped. It did not feel very clean. We were very disappointed and we were even offered to check out a second room at the hotel and it was just as bad. Whatever you do, do not book through a third party because you will be charged a cancellation fee. It was so bad that we paid the fee just to get out of staying there. We ended up at the Hampton Inn by Hilton and they were very accommodating. Turns out they have had several other guests who have experienced the same thing.”
