Definitely one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at. Location is great, service too. The rooms look luxurious but also like they’ve been used for a while. Bed is very comfortable nonetheless.

Premier location next to the river Iconic landmark among Tianjin skyline Luxurious interior decor Everything you see is St Regis trademark of excellence but its not a St Regis The service is below par, tolieties is cheap standard The rain shower leaks and the plumbing is noisy Free mineral water is cheap bottle brand. Its not the same St Regis brand I have experienced before ..so disappointed With the premier location and decor it should be the hotel in Tianjin

Located right on the bank of the river at the edge of the former International Concessions, the St Regis in Tianjin is at an amazing location. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. - as you would expect. Service, however, is not what you expect at a St Regis, at least not consistently. Some of the staff members were world class. Others...far from it. Check in was slow - painfully so - even though I was the only person checking in at the time. It felt very disorganized. Calls to the one touch service line did not always yield the predicted or desired results. The staff in the restaurants, by contrast, were uniformly fantastic and attentive. Breakfast was a good mix of Western, Eastern, and Tianjin specialties. Had it not been a St Regis it would have scored a five. As it was, though, it didn’t feel like it was up to the St Regis standard.

A lot going for this hotel: 1. Fantastic rooms - decent-sized esp corner rooms which are bigger, clean and comfy 2. Breakfast spread is good. 3. Excellent service 4. Good location - cross the road to the mall for more choices of food; walkable distance to the train station

Excellent service with a personal touch. I received a written note from one of the staff (can't remember his name) with recommendations on suggested photography locations when I mentioned to him I was a photographer. Quite simply this was awesome personal touch beyond a normal service you who expect from a hotel staff. As usual, the room is luxurious room and I was lucky to have an unblocked view of the river front.

Should have given 5 stars if the breakfast has more varieties. I would say breakfast range is disappointing given that it's such a great hotel. Butler service is good. Room is big. Bed is very comfy and I had good sleep during my stay there The gym is really well hidden. It's like walking a maze to reach. Swimming pool is just next to the gym room. Going back Tianjin in 2 weeks time. But will be staying in Ritz Carlton. The view from my room give me half city half river views which is good.

Its a cube. Looks like one. I m amazed at how Chinese make all those amazing complicated buildings. Really a marvel. Location is perfect for strolling and jogging along the river. Amazing night...
