Quarto pequeno, banheiro coletivo, deixa muito a desejar na limpeza, cheiro de cigarro nos quartos, muita bagunça de adolescentes, mas muito bem localizado e num preço razoável em se tratando de Manhattan... Não sei se ficaria novamente...

Existem apenas 2 vantagens nesse Hostel: o preço (um dos mais baratos) e a localização (praticamente em frente ao Central Park no metro quadrado mais caro de Manrathan). Se você levar apenas isso em consideração, ê um ótimo lugar mas, se você esta procurando por um pouco mais de conforto, melhor procurar outro hotel

A vantagem deste local é o preço para poder ficar em um quarto privado, o qual possui ar condicionado, uma pequena TV, cômoda, abajur e alguns cabides. Boa localização, ao lado do Central Park (West) e duas quadras do metrô. Dá para encher a garrafa de água na saída do elevador do 4º andar.O quarto é pequeno, mas o problema maior são os banheiros. Um banheiro apenas com três cabines para todo um andar (mais de 20 quartos). Acaba ficando sujo e sempre cheio.

Mi experiencia, ha Sido muy satisfactoria, baños limpios siempre, la habitación de acuerdo a lo que pagas, vamoooos es NY, no pasarás las horas en la habitación, además es perfecta para lo que se necesita, un lugar para dormir y estar seguros.

Amé todo: la ubicación cruzando la calle de Central Park West y a tres cuadras del metro y Columbus Circle, las habitaciones con lo necesario para descansar en paz y sin escándalos, frigobar para nuestra comida en la recámara, suficientes enchufes, calefacción rica, baños compartidos pero había como 12 por piso y siempre los encontré limpios y varios vacíos (estuve una semana), además las instalaciones deportivas están espectaculares y las puedes usar sin costo extra. Recomiendo pedir en los pisos remodelados, pagas un poquito más pero está lindo y agradable, jamás vi un bicho ni nadie fue grosero conmigo. Quiero regresar ❤️

Decent place. They have a pool and a gym but neither are particularly stellar. It’s what you have to expect for YMCA prices though and that’s something to appreciate

My son attends swimming classes here with GiGi level B class. We’re happy with his teacher and as a plus we love the heated pool. I will say the family swim changing room is very small and the hot water in the showers typically doesn’t work well. Other than that we can’t complain it’s a good experience.

Excelente localização, junto ao Columbus Circle e metropolitano, Times Square fica a 10 minutos a pé. A minha estadia foi em Dezembro, os quartos são quentes e só servem para dormir. O WC é partilhado, nunca tive stresses. Junto à recepção podemos usar computador e imprimir documentos pago com cartão de crédito ( 3 €).

La ubicación es muy útil para conocer Manhattan y otros puntos importantes. Los baños compartidos e individuales (aunque compartidos con el resto del piso) estaban sucios ya durante la tarde y no se limpiaban hasta el próximo día. El servicio de internet era muy deficiente, no se podía confiar en tener una conexión estable.

Nos encantó que nos dejarán hospedar y que nos adelantarán el Check in, excelente atención, muy atentos a todo. A diferencia de la otra sede, que son unos groseros, pues llegamos temprano, cansados del viaje, con sueño , y no nos dejaron ni sentar en el lobby. El trato fue pesimo, no les importa el turista.

You pay for what you get — I went with a group this past week and we stayed in two-person rooms with bunks. There were shared restrooms on the floor, so it felt more like a hostel. The bathrooms were generally clean, but don’t forget to bring shower shoes. Towels are small and sheets are scratchy, so bring your own linens if you are concerned about this. I did see a roach in one of the bathrooms, so be warned.The rooms get VERY hot, so either bring a fan or try and leave your AC on all day. The rooms are loud as well; the bunks creak and the pipes make noises, and the walls are thin so you can hear everything in the hallways. I would suggest bringing a noise machine or earplugs.The staff was generally friendly, and there is a vending machine on the first floor and a space to workout on the third floor for vaccinated guests. Masks are required in the lobby and hallways. It is in a good location, so I would suggest staying here if you don’t want to spend a lot of money but want to be close to Times Square.

What’s crazy about the service in this YMCA is that the same guard that Greechie is the same guard that will hand you your towels in your pillow. Not worth the money they’re charging. Sad great staff what little they have to work with. Watch out for your safety as well not a safe location.

Me parece injusto que se quejen de los baños compartidos, desde que reservas sabes que es un hotel tipo hostal y que así son. El precio y la ubicación son muy buenos, a unos pasos de Central Park, de la Glorieta de Colón y acceso fácil por Metro. Para conocer NY y no gastar mucho en hospedaje, esta es una muy buena opción.

Es un hotel muy sencillo, falta aseo, ascensores sucios, los baños percudidos aunque les gacen aseo no es lo suficientemente extricto. Estuve en el piso 9 habitación 959 creo q era de loas feo del hotel. Incluso habían cucarachas pequeñas. Nada lujoso nada bonito pero servía para pasar la noche a buen precio. Recomendable ser más exigentes con el aseo de ascensores y baños.

An affordable place to stay near times square and central park. Nonetheless, the place is outdated and you have to share the bathroom with other people. They will store your luggage for 4$ each bag, but only until 7pm. If you need to leave to the airportlater than this, don’t count with keeping your luggage in here. We had to take ours to a musical since they would not make an exception.

I did not come here to use it as a hotel, so I can't say anything about it in that regard. I also have never used the pool here. However, I can saythat I have had lovely experiences with staff members while here to use the squash courts upstairs and the gym. There are many things to do here and sign up for; yoga, zumba, spin classes, among many others. You can also get private lessons for things like squash. I have also been here for theater workshops (that unfortunately don't exist anymore, but were great options if your child was interested in theater) where the staff was also very helpful in helping me get around and look for the rehearsal space.I have had great experiences here, but I can't give it the full five stars because I don't know about the hotel portion of the YMCA, which is what many of these reviews are on. Thank you.

I stayed at the hotel part of this YMCA and it was pretty darn good for what it cost. Half a block from Central Park for 1/3 of the cost of other hotels in the area. My only complaints are that the rooms and building was hot. We went in December and had the AC on to cool down the room, my pop up fan was a lifesaver. Also to get into the building you need a card, which is safe and awesome, but when we were checking in we didn’t see a door bell or anything so we had to wait for someone to walk out to get in to check in and get our cards.

It got really hot at night, even though it was winter time. That's why I'm giving it three stars. Everything else was great. It was clean and the check-in process was easy, the checkout process was even easier. My friend said the room looked like a prison though. So just be prepared.

Si deseas solo alojar y nada de lujos. Es perfecto.Relación precio calidad. Buenas ubicación. Está cerca de todo.La estación Columbus Circle a solo 2 cuadras.En realidad es lo mejor para un turista que anda conociendo.Se llega solo a dormir.

Buen lugar para dormir si vas a hacer turismo en NY. Los baños son compartidos, pero siempre están solos, así que no es un problema. Tienen servicio de guarda equipaje por si tu vuelo es mas tarde después del check out. La ubicación es excelente, justo al frente de central park. No se consigue nada por este precio en la zona.
