“The hotel is amazing and me and my husband went here for the afternoon tea this passed Friday. It was our 5 year anniversary and we were thinking of staying the night after a fun day of hanging out in the city. Our opinion had changed when the person servicing us essentially never addressed me, even when I was the one asking questions. When my husband asked to have champagne, only HE got to taste it and I was blatantly ignored. She had her back to me as often as possible... That is until I was the one paying the check. I have NEVER, and I do mean never, been treated that way in any service capacity. This completely deterred me from book a night there. I'm sure the staff and hotel is wonderful but this was not a good look. And this was our 5 year anniversary. Probably will think twice before considering going here for a stay.”

“You will hear the food and beverage director before you see him. During our trip, he raised his voice multiple times quite angrily - it was quite concerning to hear him speak to guest service staff in such a way and that he was comfortable enough to do it in front of guests, too. Otherwise, my husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay. Our room was amazing and there were lots of friendly faces. I also especially enjoyed the pillows, and I wish I had thought to ask what type they were as they were super comfy.”
