While I haven't yet had my stay, I wanted to thank Brandon in Events & Sales who helped coordinate a room block for my upcoming wedding. After struggling with getting responses or any information from other hotels. I reached out and had my block ready/approved in about 2 days. I cannot tell you how helpful this was considering before booking this was the most stressful part of wedding planning! Brandon was GREAT to work with and promised me that he would make sure our wedding details went off without a hitch.

Charged me for a suite and told me that my room wasn't available and they were completely booked. I was at the hotel the night before for the rehearsal dinner and other groomsmen were having trouble getting their rooms so I went over to make sure I would have no troubles the following morning. When I arrived in morning they told me there wasn't anything available and there were no notes of me being there the night before to check in for wedding.

Hotel was nice. Rooms were decent. The vent in our bathroom was caked in dust, that’s the only thing I think that could have been cleaned better. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and big as were the rooms. The Starbucks in the lobby was great too. Check in was not great, extremely unwelcoming. I had to run my card through several times. The woman checking me in didn’t really communicate to me why I had to keep running my card. A gentleman came up to help her and he said it was something with the connection between the card reader and the computer system. Then he said it was a problem with my card. I used 3 different cards to get checked in, then was handed my room key and was on my way. For the price of the hotel I expected a little more from the front desk staff. The valet service was great and made up for the friendliness frost desk staff lacked. I would stay here again and would recommend this to anyone coming to Detroit.

Yes the building and atmosphere are amazing but the real treat at this hotel is the staff! The bell hop and valet were absolutely AMAZING! Between their professionalism and sense of humor, these people deserve a raise! They were worth the stay in my opinion. 10/10 would stay here again!

Lovely hotel! Gorgeous lobby and beautiful building. The rooms are big, clean, modern. The beds are super comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and clean.
