“Too far South away from everything else”

“I just checked our from 6 night stay and definitely have some pros and cons, so please read: Cons (this list is unfortunately long): Room was a bit simple and had some details such as very scratched chair and lack of amenities such as physical menus or maps of property, it’s a huge property and I always had a hard time locating stores or restaurants. No buffet in the property, I was a bit disappointed there was no buffets so I had to go to other properties to find nicer dining options. If all MGM properties did like a shuttle for all MGM hotels to have free transportation to other MGM hotels within the strip.. I honestly think that would be amazing. If your guest have to go somewhere else for a buffet, this would be an amazing way to keep them within the MGM umbrella. Overall my experience was very positive, I definitely see room for improvement but now let’s go with the reason why this review is 5 stars. Those 5 stars are for two particular employees. Elizabeth at the front desk at Mandalay Bay, I arrived for my check-in at Mandalay and inquired about maybe a larger room if possible. She’s explained due to high season Mandalay was completely booked but they offered to check for Delano. She was the absolute sweetest, super attentive and helpful, she answered every question with a smile and definitely made my entire stay worth it. She was my first impression of Mandalay and Delano and she definitely made her mark. I will come back again, Elizabeth gave me exemplary costumer service and I will always remember her and this property because of that. My second shout out is for our housekeeper Raquel, she was the sweetest and nicest lady. Super attentive and thorough, always had funny anecdotes and definitely made my entire stay so much more comfortable and homey. I know I said my review was long but I have no regrets, this property was my home for an entire week and I would not change this experience at all. Honorable mention to the bathrooms, love the huge bathtub and still having a shower, I really like that layout”
