Eu amo-me um hotel ace, mas isso não foi apenas uma experiência agradável. No verão, o hotel é escuro, sombrio, quase sem luz natural, a qualidade da limpeza era ruim e havia baratas no quarto! Nós só temos uma barra de sabão para uma estadia de uma semana, e o quarto cheirava a mofo. Espero que eles possam voltar ao nível de qualidade que conhecemos e amamos da marca.

Tivemos um fim de semana incrível hospedado no Ace Hotel! O atendimento foi excepcional, o diretor David, foi muito gentil e nos ajudou com tudo que precisávamos. O lobby é uma ótima vibração para trabalhar durante o dia ou tomar um coquetel rápido antes do jantar. O quarto foi além das expectativas, definitivamente voltarei !!

We had an amazing weekend staying at the Ace Hotel ! The service was exceptional, the director David, was very kind and helped us with anything we needed. The lobby is a great vibe to either work during the day or grab a quick cocktail before dinner. The room was beyond expectations, will definitely go back !!

I love me an ace hotel, but this was just not a nice experience. In summer, the hotel is dark, gloomy, hardly any natural light, the quality of cleaning was poor and there were cockroaches in the room! We only got one bar of soap for a week stay, and the room smelled musty. I hope they can get back to the level of quality we know and love from the brand.

Not a review writer, but has to be stated. We stayed overnight this past Sat-Sun and were placed in Room 200. I want to share that this room was abysmal, and in no way should be offered as a guest space for which people are paying for with any amount of money. This should be a utility closet or an overnight room for staff, or an emergency/warming room for a freezing cold house-less person in the winter, or for some other triage situation. We paid $450 for one night and heard incessant bass as we were located directly above the lobby and DJ booth. In addition to that, we heard the constant dinging of the elevator doors from the double bank not 4 feet across from the room’s door. We booked a “single” room, not even a “small”, but the size wasn’t the issue. The room is terrible, with tiny clouded windows sealed shut from the wind shaft with which they view. We feel completely ripped off and have never paid for a room of this level of depressing in all our combined years of adulthood. Just awful.

TL:DR—nice staff and lobby, but not worth the stay. I’ve always loved the Ace hotel and was excited to stay there in May of 2021 for a birthday trip. I had problems from the start. My first room had a mysterious puddle on the carpet. And my 2nd didn’t have a working AC that took hours to fix. The staff gave me my resort fee back and offered for me to come back and try the hotel again. Well, I came back to NYC this year and decided to try again and once again, I am extremely disappointed. When I reached out, I was given a discount code to book a room that wasn’t much different than usual price. This year, I had yet another room with lots of wear and tear—shutters on the windows falling off and the AC once again not working. I called down to the front desk and they said it was too hot outside for the air to work properly inside. Which makes 0 sense as we were experiencing a lot of humidity. They sent up a fan that did little to cool the room. The front desk staff was kind to listen to my disappointment when I checked out this morning but once again all I received was a resort fee discount. The bar, stumptown, and lobby are worth a visit, but look elsewhere for a place to stay.

The only reason this review is not a single star is because the mattress is comfortable and the staff is nice. The rest is total disarray. The elevator had a puddle from the outside the entire time (it was raining but still). The rooms are extremely dark; if the window is open the sound from the courtyard A/C machine (or who knows what else) is unbearable. The sink in the bathroom was on the verge of collapsing. The bar downstairs is really a club. And the corridors on the floor had a musty smell. In short, nothing like advertised. Excellent marketing, poor reality.

This is about as generous as I can be with stars for this hotel. Plus points: location and friendly staff. Negative points: Hyped as a 'hip' hotel, but there is nothing 'hip' about a piece of commercial cardboard being nailed onto a makeshift desk or a metal stool that (seriously) could only be a World War II remnant. The hotel is, in a word, dark. Not just dark, but prison dark. Black and grey, grey and black. One of my clients seriously asked me if I was in a holding cell. It was not amusing, but he wasn't wrong. I'm definitely all for recycling and vintage, but when someone destroys an encyclopedic book to glue it on one of the walls, I draw the line. The room we had was small. Even for New York. The shower was the best thing I could recommend. I can't extend that to the mattress on the bed; it too had a very long and brutal life before it hit that room. Main floor lobby at late afternoon is lit only by notebook screens. It was often so dark you needed radar to navigate. I do not like writing negative reviews, and I am not faulting the people who work at the hotel, but management should rethink their presentation. There are other ways to do vintage/recycle/hip. This is not it.

RATS!!!!!!! We stayed at Ace Hotel NYC in February 2022 for 7 nights, costing $1,900 plus $300 daily fees. Our room was a standard king room on the 9th floor. On the second to the last night, I woke up in the middle of the evening to what sounded like rustling papers. Thinking it was just the wind, I went back to sleep. The next day, we happened to look at the tray next to the TV that serves as the minibar, and were shocked to find the candy bars shredded open as if viciously clawed at, and realized that it was clearly done by a rat (see attached photo). I went down to the front desk immediately and reported the issue, and before I showed the photo, they apologized profusely and offered to move us to a suite at no added cost (nice gesture, but we realized this means that we're not the first victims). They also offered a free night in the suite in the future (again, a nice gesture, but why would we come back to a rat-infested hotel?). They were initially unwilling to do more than waive the daily resort fees and the one-night stay in the suite. After more haggling and back-and-forth, we gave up and left the next day. Few days later, the manager did refund the entire stay with a note inviting us back. Needless to say, we won't be staying there again. You shouldn't either.

I am a breast feeding mother, and these guys provided me with the support needed with things like access to a freezer, extending checkout time etc in order make my travel experience seamless.. I loved the support the whole staff gave me.. would love to come here again!!

El precio que me cobraron al hacer el check-in en el hotel no fue el que reservé por booking. Como consecuencia tuve q perder el tiempo con varias reclamaciones sin poder disfrutar de mis vacaciones con tranquilidad. Finalmente booking me dió la razon, y me solucionaron el problema , pero yo ya pasé una mala experiencia.

La atención es normal,las personas que limpian son bastante buenas en su trabajo , nuestra habitación siempre estuvolimpia , lo malo fue que dentro del cuarto de baño. La bañera estuvo atascada y no pasaba el agua . Lo Recomiendo porque un percance no tiene Porque arruinar lo demás, que también se valora.

Lo hemos pasado muy bien, una habitación estupenda, acogedora, limpia, lo tiene todo. El personal muy amable y servicial, a un precio inmejorable. Si volvemos a Manhattan, volveremos a este hotel seguro.

El hotel tiene un café con una conexión Wifi corporativa, es excelente para ir con la laptop. Muy buen ambiente (solo fuí por la noche). Podría haber más opciones para acompañar el café -y el café podría ser un poco más rico-.

Si eres hipster y vas de turismo a Nueva York, este es tu hotel perfecto. Bueno solo le falta estar en Brooklyn y no en plena Manhattan. Es perfecto por la estetica desenfadada, la equipación de la habitación y sobre todo por su siempre animadisimo hall. Eso sí pedir habitaciones a partir de la tercera planta porque a veces se montan unos follones bastante curiosos. Una de las noches, llegaba yo a las 2am reventado al hotel y tenían un grupo de percusión dandolo todo en el hall. Mi habitación estaba en la 10 planta así que sin problema. Check in y check out ágiles y sin esperas. Cama confortable y tele de buen calibre. 42' para una distancia de menos de 3 metros.
