Localização excelente e dormida agradável, apesar de fazer um pouco de calor no quarto. Cama confortável, chuveiro funcionou bem e o quarto é espaçoso. Perto de restaurantes, bares, mercados, Recomendo.

Estuvimos muy a gusto en el Hotel Acta Splendid de Barcelona. Situado muy cerca de la Gran Vía, en pleno centro de la ciudad, muy bien comunicado y súper limpio! Con una decoración preciosa, nuestra habitación era muy acogedora y la cama con un colchón muy cómodo. Nos atendieron bien y seguro que volveremos!! Lástima que no nos dió tiempo a desayunar, será la próxima vez...

First off: the hotel looks really put together! The interior stylist they hired did a great job. But the service is absolutely terrible! It started when we came to check-in. We booked a room with a large bed (I was sure to book a large bed because I hate two separate beds). The lady told me I asked for a room with two separate beds, I told her I did absolutely not but she kept telling me I did. In the booking conformation e-mail it says I asked for a large bed, so she was straight up lying to me. I also asked for a room with ‘a view’ if that was possible. When we got in the room there was one blinded window. When we opened the window we looked straight at a wall of another building. There was also a sign that says you shouldn’t put your belongings near the window.. A bit sketchy if you ask me. At night after we took a shower we tried to turn on the airconditioning/ventilator because the room was damp. It didn’t turn on. Then we opened the window for one second so that it could air a bit - immediately a horrible smell came in the room (later it turned out that the smell came from the kitchen of a restaurant). So opening the window was also not an option. When we walked to the desk to ask if they could turn on our airconditioning because it was too hot in our room the guy told us they don’t use airconditioning in the winter season. But we couldn’t open our window because of the smell so we wanted a solution. He told us (very rudely) there wasn’t any other room available for us and that we should just “try to open the window in one hour”.. On the website it says you get a free bottle of water at arrival, but we didn’t get it. So at last we asked him if he could at least give us a bottle of water so that we could cool off a bit - he told us NO because we booked our room through another booking website than their own website! The least he could do…. Also; the walls are paper thin. So if your room is cool to sleep in, you won’t sleep if your neighbors are having a conversation or a phone call. The staff is not friendly (especially the guy behind the desk) and even a “hello, how are you?” is too much to ask for when you enter the hotel. So just find another hotel and enjoy Barcelona! :)

Algunos aspectos que deberían tener en cuenta para intentar mejorar es, sobre todo, la insonorización de las habitaciones, ya que nos fue prácticamente imposible descansar correctamente ninguna de las noches. Si no son los ruidos de la calle (los cuales se escuchan bastante) son los de otros huéspedes, e incluso de las cañerías y demás elementos del baño. Tuve que poner un poco de papel en una de las llaves de paso porque estaba floja y chocaba continuamente con el techo haciendo un ruido que nos impedía dormir. Otro aspecto que les recomiendo mejorar es la limpieza de las habitaciones, en nuestro caso, detrás de la cama y en los techos había bastante polvo. Los baños tienen un aspecto algo descuidado, sobre todo en la bañera y la mampara. La atención fue correcta, y la ubicación es cercana a la zona céntrica, eso sí está bastante bien. Seleccionamos una habitación doble superior, pero no creemos que contásemos con los servicios que se señalaban, más bien parecía una doble básica.

Excelente hotel para una estancia corta en Barcelona. Céntrico, servicio muy amable en todo momento, desayuno buffet muy rico y variado, y bonitas instalaciones. Por el precio que tiene la calidad es muy buena. Es cierto que hay cosas mejorables como la insonorización o una simple escobilla en el wc. Pero hay que tener cuenta que es una zona concurrida y que por el precio que se paga, demasiado bien está. 100% recomendado. ¡Gracias!

El hotel está muy bien ubicado en el corazón de Barcelona. Tiene unas instalaciones muy bonitas y me parece un detallazo hacia los huéspedes que dispongan de taquillas para guardar el equipaje a la llegada y la salida cuando ya no tienes habitación disponible. Eso te permite continuar viajando ligero y sin preocupaciones. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y bien decoradas, la única pequeña pega que se puede poner es que la insonorizacion no es perfecta pero nada grave. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Repetiremos sin duda!

Hotel muy bien situado. La habitación espaciosa y silenciosa, daba a un patio interior y es de agradecer a la hora de dormir que no se oigan ruidos. El cuarto de baño con bañera. Estaba todo en perfectas condiciones y muy limpio. El desayuno bufet muy completo y variado. El personal amable. En general me he llevado una muy buena impresión. Sin duda volveré.

Highly recommend the hotel. The place was also recently renovated and looks like a hotel that has now opened. In a great location close to all the main places. Walking distance from Rambla and all the main shops. Great service, clean rooms. Value for money is well worth it.

Hotel muy recomendable para una estancia de varios días en la ciudad. Está muy bien situado a tan sólo unos minutos de Plaza Catalunya y de La Rambla y con un acceso al metro muy cerca. Zona con todo tipo de servicios y comercios.El hotel muy bonito decorado y con detalles muy cuidados aunque algunos aspectos necesitan una reforma. El baño en concreto tenía varias láminas del techo ahuecadas lo que daba muy mala impresión y permitía que el aire se filtrarse, haciendo un silbido muy molesto toda la noche. El aire acondicionado/calefacción también hacía mucho ruido y vibraba por lo que era imposible tenerlo encendido en horas de descanso. La nevera de la habitación no funcionaba.Uno de los mejores aspectos fue sin duda el desayuno. Desayuno buffet con mucha variedad y sobre todo muy bien cuidado y presentado. El salón donde se hace es precioso y muy acogedor, lo que hace que disfrutes más aún del desayuno.

El lugar es pequeños al igual que las habitaciones ,pero es muy limpio cuenta con casilleros para guardar maletas si aún no hay pase a la habitación y tiene una sala de uso común muy bonita muy comoda ideal para trabajar o un vino o un café

Super noisy hotel!! Horrible acoustic! You can listen all inside the room next door during the night .. the hair drier, sink, toilet, people talking.

Nos ha encantado este hotel. Está situado en todo el centro, por lo que se hace muy fácil moverse a pie. La habitación es bonita, amplia y con un buen baño para disfrutar un par de días. Todo el hotel está muy decorado y precioso. El desayuno es increíble por 9,90€/pax. Además tienen una habitación con taquillas donde puedes dejar la maleta el día de salida para poder seguir disfrutando un poco más de Barcelona, este detalle nos encantó. Los dos recepcionistas con los que tratamos fueron muy simpáticos y amables. Lo único malo que tengo que decir es que se escucha todo en las habitaciones, tanto ruidos de la calle como de las habitaciones del al lado. Aún así lo recomiendo 100%.

The interior designer had good ideasCons: - fridge in the room not working - room without double bed, two splitter beds, even if it was specified in the booking - not clean, dirty clothes of previous customers were found in the room - lost a hat in the hotel: the staff didn't seem supporting - rudeness of a member the staff: the last day, our return flight was moved vey late at night. Between 7-8 November. We were thinking to book a room for some hours, but in the morning of the checkout we kindly spoke with the receptionist and found a solution. We could deposit our luggage, staying out during the day, coming back after dinner, rest a bit in the living room of the hotel (just sitting on the sofa) and finally go at the airport with our luggage. Alright, after dinner we came to the hotel, and spoke with another receptionist. We were going to wait a bit in the living room and then finally going to the airport, very kind and no probs.After a moment a new receptionist came in the living room, we were quiet and sat on the sofa, making no noise. The staff member began to shout against us and aggressively telling us to go away. He even turned off the lights, slammed the door of the room, we couldn't even take our luggages! We stayed calm, but he followed with his anger. Finally he reopened the door, we got our luggage and get out of the hotel. I would recommend the manager of the hotel to take action against this member of the reception, very rude and aggressive. He cannot work in a hotel for tourists. At limit of legality.

we are coming to Barcelona for the first time, from Greece. the hotel very good and clean, they could have a richer breakfast. in our hearts and memories will surely remain Adrian who works at the reception, always smiling and willing to serve us. thank you Adrian 😁😁😁

First the bad - You need to call reception to adjust the temperature in your room - they disabled room control, which I've not come across in any hotel before. You only find out that you need to call if you first go and report a faulty aircon. Walls are paper thin - you can hear the notification sound from your neighbours text messages and definitely won't be sleeping if they are talking. Windows aren't sealed very well, so you hear the night club and restaurants next door. There's a fridge in the superior room but it turns off when you leave the room, so all of your food will spoil. Just like all of the milk that we had in there for our baby. Too bad for the neighbours - they would have discovered the paper thin walls don't stop a hungry baby. There's a coffee machine as advertised in the superior room - problem is that you get 2 pods for your multi day stay. Waste of offering a machine...Unless of course you travel with pods from the 10 different types of pods that hotel coffee machines offer. Now the good - Location is nice and central. Rooms have been tastefully renovated and the bed is comfortable All in all, there are many great hotels in Barcelona, this is not one of them. You can do better.
