“I planned an overnight trip with my daughter the weekend before she started high school to do some shopping and relaxing. I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Schaumburg before and everyone has always been gracious and rooms clinically clean. This time however the check-in agent gave me the impression that either she didn’t want to be at work, or she didn’t want me there! The whole interaction felt off and forced and gave me a truly bad vibe, only to get to my room and find it was right next to the elevator with a view of a brick wall and hvac units. Being poorly received by that check- in agent tainted the rest of my stay. Unfortunately from that point on no matter how great the rest of the staff , or how clean the room was, it made me feel like I never wanted to come back.”

“Mi reserva fue hecha por mi empresa (de Priceline). Como iba a llegar por la mañana, mi empresa ha hecho una reserva desde 1 día antes para que tenga una habitación desde la mañana. Cuando llegué, me dijeron que no había ninguna reserva a mi nombre, pero que podían ver mi nombre en caso de no presentarse (ya que, según las expectativas del hotel, no me había registrado el mismo día desde que comenzó mi reserva). Después de que el personal de mi empresa mencionara que ya habían llamado para informar al hotel que el check in se realizaría al día siguiente por la mañana y, por lo tanto, la reserva no debería haberse convertido en no show, se le preguntó al personal de mi empresa con quién hablaron, y tambien se le dijo 1. así no es como manejamos las reservas en línea 2. Estamos completos para uno de los días de nuestra reserva planificada, por lo que ahora la misma habitación no está disponible, pero se puede proporcionar una más pequeña. Y eso también estará disponible después de las 3 p. m. (no de inmediato). Como quería ir a la oficina, opté por una habitación más pequeña después de las 3:00 p. m. La recepción fue cortés al guardar mi bolso hasta entonces.La habitación estaba limpia en general. El desayuno de la mañana tenía opciones considerables. No hay otros problemas con el hotel, solo tenga cuidado cuando reserve en línea y asegúrese de preguntar el nombre de la persona que responde la llamada si llama al hotel para alguna solicitud en particular.”
