The hotel itself is nice and the food is good. However the customer service and how people just tell you anything you want to hear is absolutely ridiculous. We stayed 5 nights between two properties and the customer service was HORRIBLE. We were left stranded at the airport because we never received our transfer. Then after email customer service they claimed I needed to speak to World to Meet their tour booking company. And what do you know I get told that they don't have the transfer reservation. Also we went to their timeshare presentation and magically the cleaning lady threw away our voucher for the catamaran. They took us through a ringer just to tell us that the voucher can't be reprinted. Which upset me because why not just tell me that from the start. I'm on vacation I shouldn't have to spend so much time running around because misinformation. We wanted to have our vow renewal here but I will never come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Iberostar parasio. All the staff worked very hard to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Katya was great!! She comes around at the beach and makes sure you are enjoying the day!!

The Rock Star Cafe was a great experience with a great staff - especially Angeles and Marcos. Great food, good drinks, and a nice atmosphere. When we went, it wasn't too busy. If you go to the resort, I would definitely recommend it. It's open from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

I love everything in this hotel, it has everything you’ll ask for . Amazing food , activities , pool, pricing , and social life . The price for this is unbeatable. Definitely will be returning as much as possible. Katya, one of the employees was outstanding in service. Always energetic , friendly helpful and outgoing. Definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed with this place.

Las actividades por parte del equipo de entrenamiento fueron muy buenas. El servicio nos pareció muy bueno, la comida y en general todas las instalaciones Conocer a Nancy (Wendy) fue muy divertido, es muy simpática y amable inolvidable.

Estoy muy feliz y agradecida de la atención que nos dieron. El hotel es maravilloso en cuanto a instalaciones y la atención del equipo de trabajo aún mejor, especialmente el equipo de animación quienes se dedicaron a sorprendernos con los shows todas las noches y actividades durante el día y hacernos reír y bailar todas las noches. Quiero agradecer a Wendy Jiménez quien fue muy amable y atenta :) mis felicitaciones a todo el equipo, nos vamos con el corazón contento!

What can I say about this resort? Other than it was amazing! The staff were very friendly, supportive, attentive and always made sure you were having a great time. This resort was pretty quiet and did have it’s own area for the kids. I went for my 30th birthday with 5 other people and none of us had complaints. The buffet food was alright but it was great for something quick, the rooms were always neat and tidy, beach was beautiful and well taken care of. The only down fall at the beach was that there are rocks in some areas that you cannot see. This resort is huge so make sure you download the app. COVID precautions were taken at this hotel which I was very impressed with and the complimentary covid test was quick and painless. This resort is a 11/10 in my book!

Amazing resort, we spent there only one week and didn’t want to leave. So many activities in the resort that you don’t even need to go anywhere. Daily night entertainment was absolutely amazing. Food was very good. Rooms and the resort throughout is very clean and tidy, personnel is very friendly, respectful and very helpful. However the drinks were always made too sweet, so we ended up drinking highballs, and massage prices were quite too high. In my opinion if massage was made less expensive more people would go for it resulting in more revenue for the resort. Will definitely recommend and go back myself!

Atendimento check in impecavel com o abel, seguiu.se uma viagem de carro tipo golf ate aos quartos (estes mesmo carros que podemos andar para todo o lado, é so pedir para pararem quando passem por nos) , os quartos sao muito espaçosos e confortáveis, cafe da manha impecavel, variado e os atendimentos sao 5estrelas sempre atentos (gilberto, marisol entre outros), piscinas e praia sempre com actividades, e aqui é onde conhecemos mais profissionais 5 estrelas (giovani, asuel, charly, katya, owen jimenez, entre outros), em todas as piscinas temos acesso a um bar dentro de agua, na piscina grande cruzamos com o (francisco) que foi o nosso barman por algumas horas, pois a simpatia e o tempo fazia nos sempre voltar. Pela tarde pelo menos ate as 18h 19h no shooping center, ha um restaurant onde serve os melhores petiscos mexicanos, tem tambem a creperaria e gelados ate as 19h, sao optimos e aqui temos a sandra e alidia que foram as pessoas q mais nos atenderam la e ja sabiam que para nos os crepes sao de nutela 😅, seguiamos para o bar a cantina, no mesmo local, ali encontramos dos melhores que ja conheci o (emanuel) , um jovem, a quem diziamos apenas se queriamos alcool ou nao, e dali sairam as melhores bebidas das nossas ferias. Por isto e mais 5estrelas e um regresso d certeza.

The staff is awesome and the food good. But we encounter a few issues lack of communication while at the resort they don't inform you of many of the activities that are going to be available or happening. Also App needs to be updated frequently or daily so that the guest are informed. I will like to give and extra thank you to Joe the Golf kart drive he is always happy and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. Alejandro is the restaurant manager is great he made my wife birthday extra special, he sang for her. Stefano needs to learn that guest are treated nicely.

I am rating this place five stars because of the huge progress that has been made in terms of sustainability: Refillable glass bottles instead of single use plastic bottles for drinking water. No more plastic amenities but large refillable shampoo bottles. Still there would be room for improvement: The tonic water for our gin tonic was taken from a can, a glass bottle would have been more sustainable. Thank you.

A minha estadia no hotel foi muito boa. Os atendentes são muito atenciosos e gentis. O clima na piscina e praia é muito animado. A comida também é excelente. O quarto é muito bom e confortável.

I’ve been at various resorts in the area for the last 6 years and there has never been a better entertainment crew. Axel, Paquito, Giovanni and all the rest of the crew keep everyone entertained ALL DAY long. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Would 100% recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a great time!

This is a nice resort. Very big but get on this walking shoes. Food is good. Nothing really exceptional. The beach is hit or miss depending on the amount of seaweed. The staff is amazing. What I will say is.. way too many kids. So if you are not a kid person, stay away and go to the adult all inclusive

Edit upon response from resort to include that this incident occurred on April 18, 2019 and that the parties that were involved in this being Efrain Garido (Public relations hotel lobby manager on duty), Roberto Constantino (Public Relations Manager) and a José Santillan. After accepting that I did indeed slip and fall on a marble floor into a sludgy fish pond that had no barricade by witnesses and other... I was promised that I would be compensated for the repair of my 1 year old laptop which ended up in the pond along with myself as it was wrecked. As it was my last day at the resort I was concerned... but they made me feel that I had no reason to worry and I was given all of the contact information. Once home I had the laptop looked at and obtained photos of all the algae inside and contacted the hotel which is when I was told they were now not responsible for anything. All of my emails from these individuals state the same. Yes it happened but we wont do what we said we would... but we will give you a room upgrade if you stay with us again. Not a chance! If this is how they lie and treat someone that falls at the resort. Seriously!!! What if I broke my hip or something? I came out with a couple of skinned knees... but was only asking that they take care of my destroyed computer... which was less than $1000.00. I have stayed at many resorts in this area and have never experienced this type of amazing friendliness to your face to turn around and have it all be a lie. Makes me really question people. Full review and photos to come. Its long and not good after a horrible experience at this resort which involved the services, amenities and a slip and fall into a fish pond that management were going to take care of damages.. and then refused any responsibility upon my return home.

A very nice resort with a wonderful staff. Very polite shuttle drivers which are necessary because resort is so big. I just found that the resort had a few deficiencies here and there. Air in rooms was adequate, thermostat can only be set as low as 22 celcius. Extreme heat and humidity yet some restaurants are outdoors. Found the Brazilian restaurant to be the best. The steakhouse at the neighbouring Beach resort is known for the rib eye but my piece had a lot of fat and grizzle. I do recommend the resort for affordability but i would consider a step up in the Iberostar chain like the Riviera Maya. They have a lobby with air conditioning which the Del Mar does not.

My review may be a bit biased as it was my first all inclusive resort experience but even with traveling with family members who have visited similar resorts, they agree this was one of the best out there. From the amazing selections in food, the tasty drinks and room service to the abundant activities and amazing pool and ocean views, what’s not to like. I’ll definitely be looking for Iberostar resorts in the future.

My husband and I just had a great vacation at the resort. We felt like King and Queen while staying at the hotel . Because it is a big place, walking from place to place was kinda far. So we called front desk to an electrical cab picked us up to where we wanted to go within the resort. All you can eat for food and drink were already paid for . There were 3-4 pools and the beach right behind at the resort so enjoying in the water as much as you could. I deducted 1 star because food were not so great...but I knew I couldn't expect much with the price .
