Parking is underground for $22 per night. The check in staff was professional. We picked this hotel because of proximity to where we needed to be and their -perceived- amenities. The food at the restaurant was so salty we only ate a small portion of our food. The breakfast was $15 per person, was good and the staff were really attentive. The quality I expected from Hilton. The room was clean and spacious. But because of the holiday, their restaurant was closed the next day/night. With everyone else in the proximity closed also (we walked around for blocks), we didn’t have any food options. There was a gift shop that had candy, chips, drinks, small boxed salad with only Blue Cheese dressing, and boxed meat sandwiches. Since the sandwiches have most likely been in there a while, it wasn’t really edible. Hilton let me down this time.

Parking was a hassle. We paid for the parking included with our room. When we went to leave the parking garage, the hotel staff at the front desk told the woman on the parking intercom kiosk that we did not pay for parking when our code was not working. We explained the situation to the intercom lady, and she ignored us, then said “drive safe” and hung up. We went back inside to get the hotel staff to help. The hotel staff came outside and we tried to call the intercom woman again. She ignored the call for close to 2 minutes. When she answered, the hotel staff told her she had made a mistake and we actually did have parking because “we were with the wedding party.” This was untrue. We did pay for parking with our room though. If there wasn’t a wedding going on, we would’ve had to pay another unnecessary $22 for parking. The actual wedding party that was staying at the hotel was extremely drunk and obnoxious. I was woken up about 5 times at all hours of the night from yelling. The bathroom had yellow dirt, dust, stains, and filth in all of the corners. The bathtub had old moldy caulking. The bolts that hold the toilet seat down had a ring of filth under and around it. The water pressure is also absolutely terrible. The only pros about this place is the breakfast isn’t bad and kitchen staff are great. The fact that the hotel is so close to everything and connected to skyways is the only reason I would ever stay here. The bed was decently comfortable.

Loved my stay here! Clean rooms, quiet, extremely friendly staff. They supplied me with water upon check in, we’re able to answer my questions about where to see the Monday night football game and had a great restaurant attached. The staff was very knowledgeable about the skyways as well and also were able to assist me in securing a taxi for my 5am departure. Will definitely stay here again!!

Great room, fair price. Clean, decent bed. Free breakfast voucher for nice buffet. Not real crazy about this downtown area. Bit sketchy. Hotel has a good bar and restaurant, so no need to leave. Definitely repeat.

My stay at the DoubleTree Hotel St. Paul Downtown was great! I had a block of rooms there for my wedding which was 10/29 nearby this hotel! It was the perfect location to be close to public transportation for my out of town guests as well as walking distance to my venue! I worked with several people along the way, each of which made my stay exactly perfect! The hotel was able to provide a few extra items for us the first night (extension cord, glue gun and extra garbage bags) because we were making bouquets in my room for the wedding! They were super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I was able to get a late checkout on Sunday which was great since we wanted to have breakfast with our friends and do gift opening in our room prior to leaving. Overall great experience and I'd highly recommend staying here!

O gerente / supervisor da recepção foi incrível! Eu era a mãe da noiva em um casamento no fim de semana. Ele foi fabuloso com os convidados e se importou com todos! Eu não posso dizer o suficiente sobre esse cara. Eu gostaria de ter sabido seu nome. Nos sentimos muito bem recebidos pela equipe da Rival House durante o jantar de ensaio e tomamos o café da manhã no domingo. O servidor foi muito eficiente e estava disponível para refrescar café / água constantemente. O buffet de comida era quente e parecia ter um pouco de tudo para as pessoas escolherem.

¡El gerente / supervisor de la recepción fue increíble! Yo era la madre de la novia en una boda durante el fin de semana. ¡Fue fabuloso con los invitados y se preocupó por todos! No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre este tipo. Ojalá hubiera recibido su nombre. Nos sentimos muy bien recibidos por el personal de Rival House durante la cena de ensayo y desayunamos el domingo. El servidor era muy eficiente y estaba disponible para refrescarse con café / agua constantemente. El buffet de comida estaba caliente y parecía tener un poco de todo para que la gente pudiera elegir.

The front desk manager/supervisor was amazing! I was the mother of the bride at a wedding over the weekend. He was fabulous to the guests and cared for everyone! I can't say enough about this guy. I wish I had gotten his name. We felt very welcomed by the staff at the Rival House during the rehearsal dinner and we ate the breakfast on Sunday. The server was very efficient and was available for coffee/water refreshers constantly. The food buffet was hot and seemed to have a little of everything for people to choose from.

Eles nunca fizeram o nosso quarto, ficamos sem papel higiênico (havia apenas 1 rolo para uma família de 4). Ligamos e dissemos que gostaríamos de fazer o nosso quarto, e eles disseram que fariam, mas ninguém apareceu. Finalmente, alguém me trouxe uma sacola para eu levar nosso lixo para fora. Eu esperava que eles me entregassem o aspirador também. Eu entendo não lavar a roupa todos os dias, mas não limpar o quarto e reabastecer os produtos de higiene pessoal quando necessário é um pouco demais quando se viaja com crianças.

They never made our room, we ran out of toilet paper (there was only 1 roll for a family of 4). We called and said we'd like our room made, and they said they would but no one came. Finally, someone brought me a bag for me to take out our trash. I was expecting them to hand me the vacuum cleaner too.I understand not doing the laundry every day but not cleaning the room and refilling toiletries when needed is a bit much when traveling with kids.

Localização conveniente, perto de restaurantes próximos, a maioria dos quais estão a curta distância. Os funcionários do hotel foram simpáticos. J na recepção foi acima e além para tornar a nossa estadia o mais agradável possível. A única desvantagem era que o banheiro era muito pequeno. Cookies de check-in são um toque agradável. Eles são bons, especialmente quando quentes, mas poderiam passar sem as nozes. Definitivamente recomendo.

Convenient location, close to nearby restaurants, most of which are within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly. J at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Only downside was that the bathroom was really small. Check-in cookies are a nice touch. They are good, especially when warm but could do without the walnuts. Definitely recommend.

Quarto bem decorado que era muito confortável. O banheiro era um pouco pequeno, mas funcionou bem e era muito limpo. O buffet de café-da-manhã foi um verdadeiro mimo em comparação com muitos. Além disso, a sala de ginástica estava razoavelmente equipada e tudo funcionou muito bem. Fez com que este viajante experiente aproveitasse a semana fora da cidade, o que pode ser um desafio.

Nicely appointed room that was very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small but worked great and was very clean. The Breakfast buffet was a real treat compared to many. Also the exercise room was reasonably equiped and everything worked great. Made this seasoned traveler enjoy the week out of town which can be a challenge.
