“Stayed for business for three nights in October 2021. Strict mask use and enforcement in indoor common areas. Lovely hotel with historical charm, but fully updated. Fresh flowers found throughout the building. Stayed in 255 with views of the hot tub and easy access to the pool. Enjoyed a burger and fries by the pool, and room service desserts and pizza. Pizza was the best room service pizza ever. Not sure how they did that. The Tap room bar had many seating areas to space yourselves away from others. Service was excellent.”

“The Huntington has a long and wonderful history and is a throwback to the glory days of California in the 1920s. I've been staying there since its days as a Ritz-Carlton in the early 1990s. Now the Langham group owns it and has restored much of it to its former splendor -- especially the grounds and the covered bridge over the pool, which is a spectacular showcase for the local art of the late Frank Moore. Service is first-rate, from the restaurant to the valet parking. Our room this time, however, was a little tired. Not much had changed in the Lanai building in two decades, and it showed -- especially with the carpeting and bathroom. But wow the terrace restaurant was spectacular at breakfast, and the grounds, pool and gardens are as beautiful as always. A three-mile run through the amazing neighborhood is definitely worth it. Despite being a little tattered around the edges from a room standpoint, I'd still rate the Huntington as five stars for the overall experience and the proximity to downtown Pasadena.”
