We booked the resort through Costco travel but when we arrived we found out that the restaurant is not open. We did not rent a car ahead of time as we did not plan on leaving the resort and we were informed that the closest place to get a meal in the daytime is a mile away. The only dinner option is at the bar.We were also informed that we could not get a rental car at the resort and therefore our only lunch option was prepackage sandwiches at $10 dollars a piece.They also don't have a beach on the resort. There is a neighboring public beach,but you know how that goes. ...Look elsewhere on the island for a peaceful and all-inclusive stay.

I liked the proximity to the water, and the hotel bar/grill was pretty convenient. I really liked that they had a water filter in the lobby. I didn't like that Fox news was on in the lobby the whole time.

A base perfeita para procurar pela aventura em Kauai!!! Perto do North Shore e de Lihue, um lugar super aconchegante junto ao Wailua River com o Lydgate Beach Park imediatamente à frente, com o sol nascente no Pacífico!!! Simplesmente demais!!!

I liked the proximity to the water, and the hotel bar/grill was pretty convenient. I really liked that they had a water filter in the lobby. I didn't like that Fox news was on in the lobby the whole time.

This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down.Very nice place. I’m a loyal Hilton customer so we chose this place by default since it’s the only Hilton property on Kauai. We were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed having drinks and chatting with the other guests at breakfast and at the tiki hut bar each evening. Great views from the hotel.

Minha primeira viagem desde a pandemia e minha estadia foram agradáveis, especialmente levando em consideração como as restrições da COVID impactaram nossa estadia. Refeições embaladas estavam disponíveis porque a cozinha do bar foi fechada por causa da pandemia. Isso foi decepcionante, mas compreendido. Eu gostaria de visitar novamente sem restrições para obter a experiência completa, mas foi uma experiência relaxante, no entanto.

Hotel está maravilhosamente localizado. Não passamos muito tempo no hotel aproveitando as comodidades e opções de refeições desde que estivemos fora a maior parte de nossos dias. Minha maior reclamação sobre o nosso quarto é o A / C e lençóis. Enquanto escrevo isto, estou tendo problemas para dormir porque a unidade de parede não é capaz de resfriar o ambiente o suficiente. Estamos hospedados em chalés que não têm A / C central. Além disso, as roupas de cama parecem ser 100% náilon, o que aumenta o calor e o desconforto. O chalé nos custou mais de $ 400 + / noite com tudo incluído. Espero um quarto fresco e confortável quando estou pagando esse preço. Acredito que se possa presumir que a maioria dos hóspedes sai o dia todo em caminhadas, excursões, golfe, etc. Queremos uma boa e confortável noite de sono para enfrentar o dia seguinte. Se alguém da gerência de nível superior estiver lendo isso, eu recomendo fortemente investir no fornecimento de um nível mais alto de conforto para o sono nos quartos (lençóis / A / C central).

El hotel está maravillosamente ubicado. No hemos pasado mucho tiempo en el hotel disfrutando de las comodidades y las opciones gastronómicas ya que hemos estado fuera la mayor parte de nuestros días. Mi mayor queja sobre nuestra habitación es el aire acondicionado y la ropa de cama. Mientras escribo esto, tengo problemas para dormir debido a que la unidad de pared no puede enfriar lo suficiente la habitación. Nos alojamos en las cabañas que no tienen aire acondicionado centralizado. Además, la ropa de cama se siente como si fuera 100% nailon, lo que aumenta el calor y la incomodidad. La cabaña nos costó más de $ 400 + / noche en total. Espero una habitación fresca y cómoda cuando pago ese precio. Creo que se puede suponer que la mayoría de los huéspedes están todo el día en caminatas, excursiones, golf, etc. Queremos una buena y cómoda noche de sueño para afrontar el día siguiente. Si alguien de la gerencia de nivel superior está leyendo esto, recomiendo encarecidamente presionar por una inversión para proporcionar un mayor nivel de comodidad para dormir en las habitaciones (ropa de cama / aire acondicionado central).

Awesome family-friendly hotel with 2 pools, beautiful grounds, and an on-site restaurant open for breakfast. There is a full bar in the lobby as well. The best part is the hotel is right next to Lydgate Park, which has a beautiful and unique playground, lots of shade and picnic tables, and a beautiful beach. There is a swimming area with a rock wall around it, making it a super safe place for kids to swim in the ocean.

Hotel is wonderfully located. We haven’t spent much time at the hotel enjoying the amenities and dining options since we have been out most of our days. My biggest complaint about our room is the A/C & linens. As I write this, I’m having trouble sleeping due to the wall unit not being able to sufficiently cool the room. We are staying in the cottages which do not have a central A/C. Also, the bed linens feel like they are 100% nylon which adds to the heat and discomfort.The cottage cost us over $400+/night all in. I expect a cool and comfortable room when I’m paying that price. I believe the assumption can be made that most guest are out all day on hikes, excursions, golf, etc. We want a good & comfortable nights sleep to tackle the next day. If anyone from upper level management is reading this, I highly recommend pushing for an investment in providing a higher level of sleep comfort in the rooms (linens/central A/C).

Deixe-me começar dizendo que o hotel tem uma localização perfeita. Atrás do hotel há um belo parque com um belo playground e uma bela praia. As piscinas, o bar e as áreas externas são agradáveis e limpas. Os funcionários do bar / restaurante foram muito simpáticos e prestativos e a comida lá é deliciosa. Os quartos do hotel são um pouco desatualizados, nosso quarto tinha formigas e o ar-condicionado não estava funcionando quando chegamos, eles tiveram que colocar uma unidade diferente para que funcionasse. Eles só limparão os quartos mediante solicitação e você deverá ligar para a recepção para o que precisar. A recepção raramente atendia o telefone, minha esposa tinha que caminhar constantemente para a recepção toda vez que precisávamos de algo. Sei que o Hilton é conhecido por oferecer sempre um excelente atendimento ao cliente, mas, desta vez, sinto que não foi o caso. A equipe da recepção muitas vezes parecia frustrada, irritada com os convidados fazendo perguntas etc. Como um membro diamante, estou acostumado a receber café da manhã grátis como parte dos benefícios, este hotel oferece apenas um crédito de $ 20 por quarto ($ 10 por hóspede), o que é muito pouco em comparação com os preços dos alimentos. Para dar um exemplo, um prato com 2 ovos, bacon e 2 batatinhas custa $ 17. Não há nada mais barato do que isso, exceto uma tigela de mingau de aveia. Las habitaciones del hotel están un poco anticuadas, nuestra habitación tenía hormigas y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba cuando llegamos, tuvieron que poner una unidad diferente para que funcionara. Solo limpiarán las habitaciones a pedido y debe llamar a la recepción para cualquier cosa que necesite. La recepción rara vez contestaba el teléfono, mi esposa tenía que caminar constantemente hacia la recepción cada vez que necesitábamos algo. Sé que Hilton es conocido por brindar siempre un excelente servicio al cliente, pero esta vez creo que ese no fue el caso. Great location, great customer service throughout the hotel. Word to the wise, if your room air conditioner is not cooling your room enough, be proactive to move to another room.We spent 6 of our 7 days in a room as hot as a sauna.Had 5 work orders and replaced one unit in the room before finally being offered a different room that cooled wonderfully.Had one night of good sleep in a cool room.

Let me start by saying that the hotel is in the perfect location. Behind the hotel is a beautiful park with a nice playground and beautiful beach. The pools, bar and outside areas are nice and clean. The staff at the bar/restaurant were very nice and helpful and the food there is delicious. The hotel rooms are a little outdated, our room had ants and the AC was not working when we arrived, they had to put different unit to make it work. They will only clean rooms upon request and you have to call the front desk for anything you need. The front desk would rarely ever answer the phone, my wife had to constantly walk to the front desk every time we needed something. I know that Hilton is known for always providing excellent customer service but this time I feel that was not the case. The front desk staff often seemed frustrated, annoyed by the guests asking questions etc. As a diamond member I am used to getting free breakfast as part of the benefits, this hotel only offers a $20 credit per room ($10 per guest) which is very little compared to the prices of the food. To give you an example, a plate with 2 eggs, bacon and 2 small potatoes costs $17. There is nothing cheaper than that, except for a bowl of oatmeal. We had our son with us and he was not eligible for the $10 credit since it was only 2 per room. There is a laundry room with 2 dryers and 2 washers for the entire hotel and only one washer and one dryer were working. I do have to say that the housekeeping ladies were very sweet and nice. Kauai is beautiful and the good thing is that we didn't had to spend much time at the hotel since we were exploring the island.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room and a short walk from one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island. The location is prime and close enough for a day trip to anything on the island. Hilton Diamond Members get free hot breakfast, which is otherwise pricy for the offerings. Highly recommend for any Hilton loyalists. If you're looking for luxury, then there are certainly better hotels on the east side. For the price though, this Hilton is great and certainly didn't disappoint.

It took forever to check in. We tried to pop popcorn in their microwave, and it blew a fuse. The front desk said it often happens when the microwaves get used here- why have microwaves then? They sent someone to fix it and it happened again, we are back to no TV etc with blown fuse and gave been waiting far too long for help, called the front again. The refrigerator and TV can only run if the lights are on- so if we want to sleep without lights on the food in the fridge will go bad. We moved some things around the room to alleviate the issue- spending our first night working as a handyman to the room we paid for. The electricity needs seriously updated here. We didn’t have enough washclothes for our family and when we asked for one more the front desks said they are short on wash clothes and didn’t have anymore to give. Our first night is TERRIBLE. Two nights left if we can stand it. There is a beautiful view from our room of the ocean, but there are lots of places in Hawaii you can grab an oceanfront room. Recommend you find a different hotel option. This is becoming a long night.

Comfortable bed and clean room. The place overall is pretty outdated though for the price. Popcorn ceilings throughout and old furniture/carpet. Our ac went out one day but was quickly fixed and the towel hanger was hanging out of the wall. My biggest issue was paying over $30/day for a resort fee when a motel 6 has the same amenities. A small pool and hot tub. There is no buffet or all inclusive option or resort style pools with swim up bars, etc. to justify a resort fee.
