“As other reviewers have said, don’t be fooled by the name. This hotel’s staff presents as though they are running a cheap motel. I would never recommend that anyone stay here for the lack of customer service alone. My wife and I came in for her delivery at a nearby hospital- the day before she was due. We arrive at the hotel and the staff tells us we will have to wait to check in because their system was down. I asked if it was 5 to 10 minutes of a wait or was it longer- the staff member stated 5 minutes. After waiting 30 min, my wife explained her situation and one of the staff members was attempting to find a room for us manually so my wife could change and go to the hospital. However, this staff member was told not to by another staff member that rolled her eyes and said “ma’am, we don’t do that you’re just going to have to wait.” Then she proceeded to help another man check in on the side manually- just as we asked given our circumstances. We waited another 30 minutes and then told them we had to leave because of my wife’s condition. The rude staff member just said “okay” without any apology. Needless to say, we didn’t stay there and never will in the future. We checked in to the Renaissance in Detroit and received the level of service we expect from our Ambassador Elite status with Marriot. If you want a high end experience, stay anywhere but here. If you want to be treated like a second class customer, stay at the Henry. Hint: there is a reason you will find this hotel at a much cheaper rate on third party sites.”

Eu nunca recomendaria que alguém fique aqui apenas pela falta de atendimento ao cliente.Minha esposa e eu chegamos para o parto em um hospital próximo - um dia antes do parto. Chegamos ao hotel e a equipe nos diz que teremos que esperar para fazer o check-in porque o sistema deles estava inoperante. Perguntei se era de 5 a 10 minutos de espera ou era mais - o membro da equipe declarou 5 minutos. Depois de esperar 30 minutos, minha esposa explicou sua situação e um dos membros da equipe estava tentando encontrar um quarto para nós manualmente para que minha esposa pudesse se trocar e ir ao hospital. No entanto, esse membro da equipe foi instruído a não fazer isso por outro membro da equipe que revirou os olhos e disse: "senhora, não fazemos isso, você terá que esperar". Então ela começou a ajudar outro homem a fazer o check-in do lado manualmente - assim como pedimos, dadas as nossas circunstâncias.
