Most Waldorf properties are AMAZING - guess this was the runt of the pack. (Sorry Hilton, you got a lot of work ahead of you to bring this up to par since you just bought this hotel) My husband and I booked an ocean front suite. Pretty bad! Tiny balcony with broken patio furniture. Sofa in living room was not connected(L Shape), had one decorative pillow that’s seen better days, broken tile in multiple spots, smelled like bleach. I asked to change rooms. They have rooms with huge balcony’s above main building. “Nothing available” (but when I logged into American Express travel there were plenty). Needless to say I called Amex and had them cancel my reservation. Thankfully the hotel agreed not to charge me anything.Property location is spectacular, they could charge WAY more if the quality of the rooms and amenities were updated.I would go back after they go through renovation.. just won’t be for a few years I’m sure.

Atualização….Incomodante que as fotos que postei de lençóis encharcados de urina não apareçam agora.Nossa recente experiência em Key West neste hotel foi um desastre nojento. Eu não me recuperei totalmente. Era um Waldorf Astoria e eles mudaram de nome recentemente, mas se a gerência não mudou também, eles têm grandes problemas. Ficamos chocados com a condição desagradável desta propriedade. Honestamente, é quase demais para descrever, mas o pior foi que encontramos uma mancha de xixi na capa do colchão. Sentimos o cheiro levemente ao entrar no quarto, mas suponho que era do quarto ao lado que tinha alguns cachorrinhos hospedados lá. A mancha de xixi estava seca, mas era amarela brilhante, o que significa que não havia sido lavada.Mudamos de quarto à meia-noite na primeira noite. Esperamos quase 16 horas para eles limparem o quarto. Depois que eles me garantiram que estava limpo, voltei e a mancha desagradável ainda estava lá. A equipe de arrumação fez a cama sobre a almofada manchada de xixi existente. Achei isso ainda mais inacreditável porque despi a cama até o colchão quando saímos na noite anterior. Você não poderia perder a mancha de urina.Depois de tudo isso, eles resistiram a nos deixar trocar de quarto porque estavam cheios, mas eu me recusei a voltar. Depois de muitas conversas com a gerência, rebaixamos para um quarto menor que tinha um preço muito menor, mas tivemos que insistir na tarifa mais baixa para o quarto. Conseguimos um desconto, mas ainda pagamos muito.Então, depois que o quarto foi tratado, na última noite nós os vimos reabastecer sujos os copos recarregáveis sujos que eles vendem no hotel no refrigerador de gelo limpo no bar. Enviei um e-mail ao departamento de saúde da Fl e ao departamento de regulamentos comerciais.Eu NUNCA tive esse tipo de experiência antes. Tão bruto. Ainda não consigo acreditar que aconteceu.Eu não abordei todas as questões sujas, incluindo lixo alimentar espalhado, roupas sujas nos corredores dos quartos e sujeira.Espero que a gerência do Hilton veja isso e tome medidas.

Update….Upsetting that the pictures I posted of urine soaked sheets don’t show up now.Our recent Key West experience at this hotel was a disgusting disaster. I haven’t fully recovered. It was a Waldorf Astoria and they have recently switched names but if management didn’t switch also, they have big problems. We were shocked at the nasty condition of this property. Honestly, it is almost too much to describe but the worst was we founda pee stain on our mattress cover. We smelled it faintly when entering the room but I assume it was from the next door room that had a couple little dogs staying there. The pee stain was dry but it was bright yellow meaning it hadn’t been washed.We changed rooms at midnight the first night. We waited almost 16 hours for them to clean the room. After they assured me it was clean, I went back in and the nasty stain was still there.The housekeeping staff made up the bed over the existing pee stained pad. I found this even more unbelievable because I stripped the bed down to the mattress pad when we left the night before. You could not miss the urine stain.After all of that, they were resistant to let us switch rooms because they were full but I refused to go back. After many conversations with management, we downgraded to a smaller room that had a much smaller price but we had to insist on the lower rate for the room. We did get a discount, but westill paid too much.Then after the room was dealt with, on the last night we saw them refilling dirty the dirty refillable cups they sell at the hotel in the clean ice cooler at the bar. I have emailed Fl health department and the department of business regulations.I have NEVER had this type of experience before. So gross. I still just cannot believe it happened.I did not cover all the dirty issues including food trash laying around, dirty laundry lining the guest room hallways and filth.I hope Hilton Management sees this and takes action.

Eu tenho que admitir que antes de chegarmos aqui eu tinha lido todos esses comentários e estava morrendo de medo de ter reservado um local horrível para o aniversário da minha esposa, no entanto, não sei por que todo mundo está reclamando aqui? Não tivemos a mesma experiência que os outros. A partir do minuto em que caminhamos até a porta para fazer o check-in até o minuto em que saímos, todos os funcionários foram absolutamente fabulosos! Eu entendo as reclamações sobre o lugar ser um pouco mais antigo, mas você tem que entender que essa coisa está lá há muito tempo e sobreviveu a inúmeros furacões e tempestades tropicais. Metade da estadia é a nostalgia do próprio lugar. Nossa cama era confortável, o quarto estava limpo e era silencioso. Nunca ouvi uma alma em ambos os lados do nosso quarto. O ar condicionado funcionou perfeitamente. A televisão funcionou perfeitamente. (Por que diabos você passaria muito tempo no seu quarto assistindo TV?) A comida era boa e eu mencionei TODOS os funcionários com quem lidamos foram excelentes e sempre felizes e ansiosos para ajudar com qualquer coisa que você pudesse desejar. Ficaríamos aqui novamente sem dúvida.Parabens a toda equipe!!Obrigado por um ótimo fim de semana prolongado!

Não vale o dinheiro. Pelo que pagamos, os quartos precisam estar em boas condições. Nosso quarto, pelo menos, não estava perto de par para um estabelecimento de WA. Os salões eram terrivelmente iluminados. Manchas em todo o tapete. E nosso quarto estava cheirando almiscarado. Chuveiro de drenagem muito lento. Tinha que limpar os pés antes de ir para a cama. Não parecia que o quarto tivesse sido bem varrido. E tive que colocar 20 libras de pressão para trocar Chanel no controle remoto. Precisa de muito trabalho para chegar ao padrão pelo qual está cobrando. Agora. Este é apenas o meu quarto. Não consigo falar com outras salas. O prédio está muito degradado. Quarto na melhor das hipóteses foi de US$ 150 por noite. Não $ 700. Agora o bom. Os funcionários foram bons para nós e foi um ótimo local com belas paisagens. E realmente manteve-se. Fora. Não dentro. A culpa de ninguém é minha. Eu não li comentários até depois. Por falar nisso. Nós amamos Key West.

I have to admit that before we got here I had read all of these reviews and was scared to death that I had booked a horrible location for my wife’s birthday, however, I’m not sure why everybody is complaining on here? We did not have the same experience as the others. From the minute we walked up to the door to check in until the minute we left all of the staff were absolutely fabulous! I understand the complaints about the place being a little bit older but you have to understand this thing has been there for a long long time and has survived countless hurricanes and tropical storms. Half of the stay is the nostalgia of the place itself. Our bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was quiet. Never heard a soul on either side of our room. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. The TV worked perfectly. (Why on earth would you spend much time in your room watching TV?) The food was good and did I mention ALL of the staff we dealt with were excellent and always happy and eager to help with anything you could want. We would stay here again without question.Kudos to all of the staff!!Thank you for a great long weekend!

Not worth the money. For what we paid the rooms need to be in top shape. Our room at least was not close to par for a WA property. Halls were terribly lit. Stains everywhere on carpet. And our room was musky smelling. Very slow draining shower. Had to clean off feet before getting in bed. Did not seem like room had been swept up well. And had to put 20lbs of pressure to change Chanel on the remote. Needs a lot of work to get to the standard they are charging for. Now. This is my room only. Can’t speak to other rooms. The building is very run down. Room at best was a $150 a night room. Not $700. Now the good. The employees were good to us and it was a great spot w beautiful landscapes. And really kept up. Outside. Not inside. No one’s fault but my own. I did not read reviews until after. Btw. We loved key west.

Loved it! Me and my family stayed here two months ago over Thanksgiving break, and we had a blast! There is a beautiful view that I don’t see, living in Texas. The pool was amazing and fun to hang out in. When we had breakfast or went to the bar, the staff was amazing and kind. The food was also amazing! Shoutout to my favorite bartender (I don’t know if I can say names on these reviews) who knew all of our drinks off the top of his head our second day at the resort. He was very nice and hospitable and he really did my drink up and made it special, and it was a unique experience. I hope I come back here one day!

O hotel é bom, mas melhor média para o preço. Reservamos uma vista para o mar e não podíamos ver o mar. Totalmente bloqueado por árvores bem na frente da sala. Negou uma mudança de quarto quando pedimos. Foi a nossa primeira estadia em um Waldorf e, como membro Diamond de 12 anos do Hilton, eu esperava mais. Serviço foi decente, mas muito na média. É certamente um local agradável à direita na praia, mas você pode obter um valor melhor pelo seu dinheiro em outro lugar.

The hotel is nice but average at best for the price.We booked an ocean view and could not see the ocean.Totally blocked by trees right in front of the room.Denied a room change when we asked. It was our first stay at a Waldorf and As a 12 year Hilton diamond member I would’ve expected more.Service was decent but very average.It is certainly a nice spot right on the beach but You can get better value for your money elsewhere.

The hotel was dated but given its location and age I think people should go into the hotel with eyes open. It is on the ocean on an island and the humid weather is going to cause mold on exterior surfaces. I felt nervous booking at this hotel because of the reviews I read but I was pleasantly surprised. As for my stay the room I stayed in was phenomenal the bed comfortable and the view outstanding. Looking out of my window in the morning took my breath away.The staff was very friendly multiple people stopped to say goodmorning. The breakfast buffet had gluten free options which is a plus. I highly recommend sitting outside on the patio in the morning for breakfast it was very nice. The pools looked good I didn't use them. The ocean beach is for sitting and sunning yourself I wouldn't recommend swimming as its very rocky.

Rooms were clean but so dated that you could never believe that you are in the top hotel of the Hilton brand. Most of the Hampton Inns are much more "luxurious" than the rooms in this hotel. Service was good and personal friendly. Food was decent, but nothing special, accept for the price tag which is probably expected. Location is great and grounds are well maintained although a little simple.

I come here every year when I drive down to Key West. I haven't stayed there. I just pop in for lunch, walk around and split. However, this time around was exceptionally problematic. I sat down and before I ordered the waitress asked me my room number. Well obviously I didn't have one because I wasn't staying there. She then proceeded to ask for my credit card before I ordered. Highly unusual, wouldn't you think? I don't really look like a dine n dasher. I ordered chicken fingers, pretty easy stuff. I used to ordered their ceviche which was excellent but wasn't on the menu anymore. She brought the food only for the chicken fingers to be cold and completely raw. It sickened me because nobody wants to bite into raw chicken. I waited awhile as the waitress never came back and had my credit card this whole time. Another nice young lady went by and I flagged her and told her the problem. She apologized and I ordered a fish sandwich instead. When that arrived the bun was so stale a bird might not eat it. The fish was so over cooked it was just a shame. I took a few bites of the fish and called it quits. When the waitress came back with my credit card she asked what happened. I explained everything and she got upset with me that I hadn't told her of the problem. You can't tell someone something when they're not there. She also wanted to argue with me that the girl I flagged only spoke Spanish. Well she spoke perfect English to me and understood everything. The waitress was upset that now she'd have to void that check and make another. Sorry to put you out my dear but I'm the one who received lousy food here and I'm leaving hungry. She went and printed another check and I paid that even though I ate maybe 20% of that fish sandwich, probably less.Later I checked my credit card bill and both meals were still on it. Unbelievable! So to sum it up, I've visited this establishment for the last time, or if I do I definitely won't be eating there.

I am writing in total disgust at the condition the room and hall ways are at this resort. I am here for a wedding. Knowing the reputation of this resort I didn't blink an eye at the rates. On the way to our room I couldn't help but notice the elevator, glass doors and hallways were astonishing filthy. I was not happy to ride the elevator with the garbage and dirty linens. No service elevator???. upon entering our room I bumped into the dresser and cut my hand open on the broken glass top. The room was very dirty with torn drapes and plaster falling from the ceiling. I would think that a resort that holds the Hilton/ Waldorf Astoria name would have better rooms. At least clean ones. I spoke to the manager who gave us a $200.00 credit and changed our room . This room is no better. I am appalled! And feel that there some compensation .This is so not what I am a accustomed to when paying the room rate that I was charged. And I even paid for an upgraded room! Super 8 has cleaner rooms then this resort. The furniture was falling apart, Drapes were torn, ceiling plaster was falling down. Patio door was impossible to open and close. All this was in the second room that they changed us to. Pictures to follow. I hope you will review this and agree that this is not the standard that Hilton would want to portray. Thank you

Me encanta este hotel totalmente recomendado limpieza buena atenciÓn la piscina excelente la atenciÓn el bar sÚper aento todo muy muy bien la habitaciÓn excelente lo Único que em gustri seÑalar son los parqueos el area de parqueo estÁ oscura y muy poca seguridad la verdad para el precio que pagamos deberÍa ser mejor por la seguridad de nuestros autos por lo demÁs todo muybien 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The service is very bad, all the employees ignore you when you read questions, they only answer that they do not know anything and the prices of the food are very expensive, for example for a buffet of 2 people it costs you around 70dls more tip and you will only have access to 2 eggs bacon and juice or coffee the beach is horrible and very rocky the pool is very dirty and in the children's pool avia dead frogs the parking lot 30dls per night the rooms are small the cleaning is very bad if you need to take them to the airport that is at 5 minutes of them are 80dls plus tip I will never stay in this hotel again I think because they charge me for 4 nights I overpaid and I think this is 2 and a half starsel servicio es muy malo todos los empleados te ignoran cuando lea preguntas algo solo te contestan que nosaven nada y los precios de la comida son muy caros por ejemplo para un buffet de 2 personas te cuesta alreder de 70dls mas tipy solo tendras acseso 2 huevos bacon y jugo o cafe la playa es horribley muy rocosa las pisinaesta muy sucia yen la picina de ninos aviaranas muertas el estacionamiento 30dls por noche los cuartos son pequenos la limpesa esmuy mal si nesecitas que lleven al arepuerto que esta a 5 minutos de ellos son 80dls mas tip jamas me volvere a quedar esta hotellos creo que por que me cobran por 4 noches sobrepaguey creo que este es de un 2 estrellas y medio

This is my first time in Key West and I’m so happy we picked this place. It’s beautiful, clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, Thabone went out of his way to make our stay perfect, he deserves all the praise. The food is great, the mimosa during breakfast are the best. Overall a great stay. Yes, it is in pricier side but this hotel is a Waldorf Astoria Resort

Beautiful Elegant Resort, Rocky Beach Location, water had a lot of seaweed in the water on our visit in early June. Rooms a big but tired, especially the bathrooms. Staff great but not in a hurry and seem short handed at times. Pools big with a lot of loungers, Beach staff organized and friendly. Food and beverage a bit hit and miss, staff mostly exceptional but a couple of "that's not my job" attitudes sprinkled in. Solid food, mostly salad and seafood which suited us. Refreshingly, feels like the Caribbean mixed with some New Orleans Jazz, just a few hours from NYC. Will go back again.

Es un buen hotel con playa decente para lo que puedes encontrar en Key West. El estacionamiento cuesta 35usd pero si dejas el coche en la calle es gratis, me parece un exceso el costo injustificado del estacionamiento.La atención de todo el personal del hotel esmuy bueno, especialmente en el restaurante de la alberca.Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y limpias aunque ya denotan la edad del hotel

El enclave es único por la piscina y la playa, aunque habían muchas algas y no nos pudimos bañar en el mar. En cuanto a las instalaciones interiores un desastre: habitaciones sucias, mal mantenidas y con mal olor. Tuvimos que decir a recepción que quitaran unos vasos y cubiertos sucios que hacía 2 días que estaban en el pasillo al lado de nuestra puerta y ni una disculpa.... pena porque el hotel en buenas condiciones sería increíble.....

Buen hotel, pero al nuestra llegada debimos esperar 3 horas , nos debían entregar la habitación 15 pm y nos la entregaron 18 pm , las piscinas no estaban del todo limpias el agua se encontraba bastante turbia, muchos huéspedes , las playas con piedra , muy difícil entrar al mar ,a la hora de desayunar hay demoras por falta de Mesas , el último día debimos esperar 20 minutos , el parking muy caro. No volvería a ir . Hay otras opciones .
