This was by far the worst stay I have had in Mexico period. I read the reviews and decided it was one of the best choices. We have stayed at the hard rock before however they were booked. Don’t get me wrong, it looks beautiful and rooms are spacious but customer service was horrible. Upon our arrival the receptionist was very rude and could give an explanation of extra charges on my card. Later I would call for service and it would get forgotten. Let’s not forget the last two days there was nothing but dark brown water with what it appeared to be soil in the shower and faucets. They said they were having system problems however when it was supposedly fixed, there was no hot water, dark, and distinctive smell to it . When I called the front desk to tell her of the brown water persisting she seemed as she did not care. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and was hung up on. Out of 5 days here I think 1 day was probably okay. The rest of the days it was a very unpleasant stay. Never again will I stay here. Very disappointed in this hospitality being that it comes from a big partnership.

Had a bad experience with the staff. My dad forgot a sentimental item in the room and was upset called like an hour later and asked if they can bring it to the front desk so that we could swing by and pick it up and they looked and said it wasn’t there. You would think they would report any thing left behind but I guess you can’t trust everyone to be honest. Very disappointed.

I stayed at this hotel for 12 nights from late November to early December 2019. The hotel is clean. Located in a relative nice and safe area surrounded by many nice restaurants. I experienced two issues during my stay. 1- only one elevator was operational. Sometimes you had to wait minutes before you can go up or down. 2- although the staff were very courteous and respectful, the restaurant staff really need training on doing their job. For example, you ask for salt and pepper, 2 or three times before they bring it to you. They say, “yes” or “sure”, but you don’t see the result. Or you ask for tea, good luck if you see the right type of tea ( as you requested) before you remind them 3-4 times. My colleague also asked for his iron to be replaced, it only took the hotel staff 3 days before they deliver the iron.
