“My friend and I were visiting Washington out of town for a concert. We are both 18 years old and very responsible. We reserved a room for 2 nights through Trip Advisor and had already paid the amount due, however, the receptionist did not let us check in claiming we were not old enough. While company policy does say you must be 21 to check in, most hotels also have the same policy but were a lot more accommodating. They not only refused to let us check in but did not help us in finding a different hotel to stay. They also refused to give us a full refund afterwards.”
