THE most comfortable bed! Room was clean. Upgraded to Presidential Suite - lots of room. Have stayed before and all rooms have been spacious. Quick and easy check-in. Cheese curds in the restaurant were AMAZING! Despite being short-handed (this is an issue everywhere right now) all of the staff made us feel welcome and provided exceptional service. Delicious complimentary breakfast with hot food. CARIBOU COFFEE in the cafe provided our favorite morning drinks. Complimentary bottled water is available, and alcoholic beverages can be purchased in the market. Pool and gym were clean. Plenty of room and tables in the common area to spend time with the people you’re traveling with. There is a concierge lounge available weekdays. Have stayed before; already planning our next stay! (We live 35 minutes away and just really like this location!)

What a horrible experience! Dirty sheets and pillowcases with hair that’s not mine, a disgusting coffee maker that couldn’t make one cup of coffee that was worth drinking, and refrigerator that leaked…so every time I passed it I had to jump over or get wet socks. It seems like it’s too much to ask to get what you pay for. I’ve had a much better night at a small motel. I made the mistake of telling Management on my way out the door, and they mentioned…”We can look at adjusting your rate”. Some people will just never get it…I’m not looking for a discount, I’m looking for quality service.

It was good. Nice hotel. Breakfast was not good. Typical continental breakfast, but you had to pay for it. Paid for poor quality food. Room was clean. A lot of water spots in the tub. Clean, but could've been cleaner. Overall I would stay here again.

The staff at this location is stellar! Needed to be away from home on the Thanksgiving holiday and we were greeted with smiles and a complementary Thanksgiving meal complete with pumpkin pie. (Prefer sweet potato though : ) ) Because it was a holiday weekend the restaurant and bar had limited hours but we were still able to enjoy the bar and restaurant menu. Double espresso from the coffee bar each morning hit the spot. The children enjoyed the pool and we even had a chance to use the guest laundry which is a great option when you're travelling with family. The microwave is in the guest store area by the front desk but fridges are in the room. Different from most hotels but workable. I understand from staff that the hotel has plans for renovation in the near future as it was a beloved local independent hotel before Marriott took it over and will get the Marriott treatment soon. Overall I'd stay here again.

Room was okay. Bathtub spout was very loose and and old pacifier was left from someone earlier questioning the thoroughness of cleaning. Don't expect a complimentary breakfast or even coffee in the common area in the morning. But, you can purchase your breakfast at the Boundary Waters Cafe. I guess I expected better at a Marriott.
