Outdated decor but kept clean and well maintained. Simple, basic Marriott hotel. Staff was great. Rooms clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. Good location, close to highway and 10ish minutes to Univ of Minnesota. Workout room was small but nice. Marriott has instituted a new breakfast for Fairfield’s with a lot of prepackaged processed foods which is disappointing so if the breakfast is something you really want, I wouldn’t recommend it here (not because of the staff here, unfortunately it’s a brand wide thing). But there’s a fridge and microwave in the room, so we went to the store and got some stuff to supplement breakfast. Overall was a good stay

I had someone fraudulently use my credit card number with their own name and Bonvoy Account at this location and when I called to speak a manager (Laura) about this - she took the attitude of I don't care - I got an authorization from American Express so I'll get paid. I tried to advise of the situation and even when she ran the account again and it was then declined she said it didn't matter. Now that my card was cancelled and replaced - there have been 5 more attempts at this location which leads me to believe that Laura is in on this scam. I get an e-mail for every declined transaction on the frozen account number. She refused to take any action and was not concerned about the fraudulent activity. Told me - call the police - that's all she'll cooperate with.

We stayed 2 nights! The service & friendliness of the desk gals was awesome! I wish I could remember their names. The breakfast though wasn't the best. But we would still go back !!

Great hotel staff...Mr. Taylor was amazing, he always asked how my day was going and provided great customer service. He assisted with fixing my backpack with a smile. Thank you 😊

One of the most hospitable, gracious staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. I have stayed at a variety of hotels, but the staff at this one was 5 star +. I had called earlier in the week to get an accessible room, and they were so helpful. Then, when I checked out, the person at the front desk remembered that call, and said she had been thinking of us and wondered how it worked out for us. Really incredible. A basic, 2 star hotel. Comfortable, clean. Room had a slight odor when we entered, I sprinkled a little peppermint essential oil and we were good. Sidewalks were kept nice a clean after some blowing snow, no concerns about falling in the parking lot.

We stayed here for two nights while my daughter competed at a swim meet at the University of Minnesota. The location made it easy for us to travel to the pool, but get away from the crowded areas...
