“While I wouldn't describe this Hilton as the "luxury" hotel I once might have, it is still clean, comfortable, and entirely acceptable. My number-one desire in a hotel is for a comfortable bed, and theirs do not disappoint. They have returned to down pillows and comfortable mattresses, which has made a tremendous difference. If I can't sleep well while on the road, my entire trip is adversely affected. This hotel checks that box off the list for me. Some of the "extras" we used to receive, such as complimentary bottled water in the room, have gone away, but after all, many extras have disappeared during these times of pandemic and inflationary recession. I think this guest house does a nice job. Their connection (via skywalk) to the Stephens Convention Center and their 24-hour shuttles to O'Hare International Airport are both plus-factors.”

“Incredible staff. Loved all interactions with the people working here. But the hotel is simply dated... Needs a renovation. Not worth $150 especially with breakfast not included. $190 total including breakfast. Friendly staff, quick shuttle, and newer fitness equipment made me consider 2 stars.
The pool was locked by deadbolt the one night we were there so we couldn't use it. Fitness Center was shoved into 2 long storage closets with no water reloaded in the self serve stations. Breakfast buffet is only available on weekends when the hotel expects more income so overpriced menu only on weekdays. No refrigerator in the room. No bottles of water in the room except from front desk. And once again, the interior of the rooms and common areas need an update bad if they want to compete successfully in this price point.
Hilton needs to audit this one and push ownership to invest in the property to update everything in order to keep the flag. And give the staff a raise for making this property seem better than it is!”
