“Check in was fine, the rooms nicely laid out with a kitchen and work desk, as well as a pull out bed. Unfortunately, the fire alarm’s batteries were dying, so it kept beeping, a loud, sharp chirp. The front desk said they could put in a work ticket, but as they didn’t have any service personnel, they couldn’t do anything. What kind of hotel doesn’t have someone available to fix things overnight?I had to ask for batteries, which they then did not even bring up to the room. The batteries didn’t stop the alarm from sounding, so we had to go back downstairs and ask for a different room.Hardly a comfortable or homey experience for a family who has been out traveling all day and just wants to rest.”

“I like to workout when I am traveling.The fitness center was closed and the front desk said they did not know when it would open up again.The website made no mention of the fitness center being closed. At breakfast the next morning there were what appeared to be homeless people eating the complimentary breakfast.The suite was nice and roomy and we liked the close proximity to the Union Market District..”
