“Let me start by saying that overall this is a good hotel with amenities offered, it’s location and the friendliness of staff overall. I stayed here back in October and most recently late December, and the room quality was vastly different this time around (lower floor, 4th to be exact). Same type of room category as before, but you would think this is not the same hotel from just a couple months ago. Uncomfortable mattress, chipped/worn furniture (not even subtle anymore), no minibar drinks nor snacks (the opposite of October), and in the bathroom the sink had a large hairline crack which for me is a classic sign that this property is long overdue for a renovation. It’s not even the rest of the hotel which is very good by all standards, but the room quality is something else now…it’s heading downward and it shows. I am a lifetime Bonvoy member, and when I write reviews it’s either because an experience was just that good, or because there is something of concern which must be mentioned. This is the latter. Please renovate your rooms and bring it up to Marriott standards, if I had known the room I was to receive was going to be in the shape that was it in, I would have gladly booked the Courtyard, Hyatt Grand, or JW Marriott because all of them have more consistency and newer (looking) rooms at least.”

“I really felt taken advantage of here. I booked through the app and the rate was one thing when I checked in it was a lot higher. After going back and forth the came down to a rate close to what I originally book at but I was told breakfast were included. I would also get dinners credited for one amount. When it came time to check out I was told that dinners were only at one of the three restaurants on site which I never ate at so ended up paying for all dinners. I stay at various hotel chains mostly in the USA but for them to not honor the price I booked at through the Marriott app was ridiculous!”
