“I had a brand new shirt, right out of the package, ruined by the room's iron. I was trying to steam iron my shirt when a blob of some dark substance, probably mold, shot out of the bottom the iron. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they gave me the card of the front desk manager. I sent two emails, no reply and then went to the website to complain. I received an email immediately from Iberostar (Park Ave., NYC) stating they would not compensate me because and I quote "self-inflicted" damage because of user error. Unbelievable. I ask for his supervisor and only found out it was the first person I sent 2 emails to previously. Insulting. The only thing "self-inflicted" is poor management and I will never use that hotel again.”

“Very nice hotel near Grand Central. Staff was pleasant for check and check out and they had a concierge for questions should you need anything. Best of all, no lame resort charges. Internet included in the room rate which was very reasonable. Roughly a 15 minute from Penn Station and a 5 minute walk to Grand Central. Would return.”
